ddickinson: For us the whole romance thing is definitely not just confined to Saturdays, but that's the only time we have together where we can have a late night and not have to worry about one of us needing to be up early in the morning (mainly due to me and my work). It also goes back to when we were younger and went to separate universities, so Saturday used to be the only night we had together. It's not exactly scheduled, we don't do anything we are not in the mood for, it's just a nice little tradition we have.

That is a very nice motive to want to help and volunteer there. I hope you are able to do that one day and that it is as enjoyable as you hope.
It's pretty similar for us. We'll find time whenever we're able, but setting aside time on Saturday evenings has just made things nicer. It could mean romance, it could mean playing a board game, watching some Doctor Who in bed. Just some conscious, deliberate time together. Friday and Saturday nights are the only nights my wife can stay up late (and even on her late nights, she turns into a pumpkin by about 11pm) so we try to make a point of spending some time together.

That sounds nice. We do that most evening, but we don't always have long after work and things like that. We often just find lots of fun things to do together. We always make the most of the time we have together.

It's nice to hear that you and your wife have some time set aside for each other. It sure is nice spending some quality time with the person you love, even better on those nights when there is no worry about work or things in the morning.

Here we had warm days... then some really chilly cold days.
But at least there's no raining today and hot tea and coffee are a nice way to warm up!
Does Greece have like this sort of unified weather, like the whole area is basically warm now, or are there somewhere where it can be different?

akhliber: That sounds wonderful. I've been considering volunteering at the Mayo Clinic, if and when I'm able to drive again. I plan to go out and practice with the car on weekends to get used to it again while I work on trying to get a doctor's approval to get back on the road. I also found out yesterday that there's actually a bus stop within somewhat-reasonable walking distance finally that I could use to get rides into town, or to the clinic, etc, so I may be able to arrange it whether I return to driving or not. :)
I hope the evening you have planned is a lovely one!

My evening will indeed be a lovely evening. Every Saturday me and my partner have a nice romantic evening and night, starting with a lovely candle lit dinner.

Harvey Wallace Burns was an American artist and didn't have many paintings go to auction but one I saw was estimated to go for $400 - $600.
