moonshineshadow: *big hug* My sleep could have been even better, but it was not bad. And since it is weekend I did not need to get up before nine, so I am not that tired. How about you?
Hmmm... stickers? That would be fun. I'll see if I can come up with something :D
avatar
ddickinson: Could have been better? You are not setting a good example for Agent or Owl. :-)

I am doing very good, thank you. I slept for about 4 hours, which is about my usual amount, so I am feeling good and well rested today. I have run into a few problems at work this morning, but they are sorted fro the most part. Now I am just doing a check of things (lots of walking and travelling around the fields, not always interesting, but it needs to be done and I get to chat on here while I do it.). I am also doing some paperwork ready for us in case we take on more livestock. The weather is quite cold, but no rain so far, which is nice.

Maybe we could get Owl to design us a nice picture for the stickers? :-)

I hope you manage to have a lovely relaxing day. Do you have any fun ideas for the day?

*big cold but still doing great hug*
*big warming hug*
Good to hear that you are doing so well :-)

And yes, it would be awesome if owl would desing us a sticker, her pictures are always amazing :D We should ask her when she shows up :-)

No real plans for today. Need to do the usual apartment cleaning. After that, no idea.

Although, I think Agent wanted badges and not stickers. :-)

I hope you find something fun to do. I have a strange idea. You could play some of your GOG games? I know it's a crazy plan, but it could work. :-)

You mean these things that I collect? I should actually play them? Sounds really crazy ;-)
But yeah, that is not such a bad idea. I think this year I'll not manage to finish more games than buy games if I continue with this snail pace of playing games :D

Are there any games that you are keen to try, or are you stuck deciding on a game? I know I often find it hard to make up my mind what to play. Games require such a big investment in time, which makes it a challenge to play them, due to motivation, limited time, or just trying to decide which one to play. That's part of the reason I decided not to really buy anything for myself this year, to keep my backlog under control.

Not really sure. There are some games that I still should finish but not that motivated. On the other hand deciding on something new is also hard...

I think me and my partner will play a little more Lego Batman tonight, before we sit down to our lovely romantic meal and evening. We might play it tomorrow as well, but that depends on how we both feel.

I have a few games that I plan to play soon, but it is still very hard to pick, so I have just been picking randomly. I might also just pick a random letter and then play all the games under that letter. The exception being multi-part games (sequels etc). I might play the first of a series, then move on to another game. If I play the whole series back to back it might get too repetitive. I picked the letter C earlier this week, so if I decide to do it by letter then that is not a bad letter to start with. "T" will be the worst, due the the amount of games starting with "The". I have about 5 games to play under C (I have excluded the ones I have played, and sequels), so it should not take too long. If I get bored I will stop the game and try the next one. If I am not in the mood for it then there is no point forcing it or it will just spoil the game and the fun.

That sounds like a nice idea. Perhaps I should also do something like this :-)

I really hope we'll get some more Lego games here, they are so much fun when playing them with someone else. Especially the newer ones would be nice, then I would not need to rely on steam anymore, but at least my mum and I have enough games to play, so I always wait for a nice sale :D Just two days ago, I got Lego Batman 3.
Also be warned, should we ever get Lego Indiana Jones here on gog, you'll receive a ninja gift :P

[edit] I just realised that because of your and Stiltons awesome gifts yesterday, my wishlist is now smaller than yours :P

*return hug* I hope for you that the weather shows some goodwill and that it stays at least dry. What are your plans later on?

I agree, they are quite fun. They are not quite what I expected, but they are nice and fun. And each level is quite short so you can play it in smaller chunks if you wanted. Is each game different, or do they all follow the same mechanics, just with different skins?

*Hides from Moon's future ninja gifting* :-)

That's good, let's keep it like that. I think by Christmas we will have your wishlist depleted. And a big +1 for the lovely Stilton. Although, where the hell is my gift?! (That was a joke, Mr strange viking, don't go getting any ideas.) :-)

Fingers crossed the weather will improve. But at least there are lots of fun indoor things you can do in Berlin, so the day will not be wasted. Have fun!

Yep, the Lego games are all with the same mechanics. Sometimes a bit of new stuff was introduced. Like collecting some materials to build your own fun upgrades. But in general they are with the same mechanic and just telling the different stories. So I would not advise to play several directly after another, but like for example my mum and me always have breaks between since we only play during visits. And then they are always fun.

So, I choose a random letter and it was "M".
Now I just need to decide between:

Magrunner
Maniac Mansion
Mechanarium
Metal Dead
Miasmata
Might and Magic 1
Mind: Path to Thalamus
miniFlake Alpha
Mirrors Edge
Monkey Island: Tales of Monkey Island
Mortal Kombat 1
Mount & Blade
Mutant Storm Reloaded
Myst: Real Myst
