I bought a horse today :D

EndreWhiteMane: Hi Valkyrie lady. :-)
*hug*

moonshineshadow: *big tired hug* It is amazing how sitting all day in a car can be so tiring.
You were on a stakeout?
avatar
moonshineshadow: Really a great game. My first tower defense game and I loved it. And the difficulty increased levels were also great.
avatar
CarrionCrow: I like the added difficulty because it's a better way to provide game balance.
I usually stick to normal mode because so many game developers can't balance a game for hard without making it blatantly unfair as a way to increase challenge.
They don't improve AI, they'll do things like add on hit points to enemies, have opponents be able to do things that shouldn't be possible within the game rules, things like that.
True. That is really handled well. I remember how much trouble the levels gave me, when telling “no archers“ :D

lol. Nope, on the way back from holidays. And with our caravan we are not allowed to drive very fast. That is why we stopped for the day now and will drive the remaining 500km tomorrow.

After I learned to drive I developed a particularly intense hatred for all the movie scenes in which the driver keeps looking at the person sitting next to him instead of the road.

So pretty much every movie makes me groan in disgust.

Highways are particularly tiring due to monotony but narrow, twisty mountain roads I find nerve-wrecking.

EndreWhiteMane: Sounds like the voice of experience, that's a shame, you're too young for that shit. Hell, I'm too young for that shit. :/
avatar
CarrionCrow: -laughs- That's the big twist. I'm actually 84, you're all whippersnappers, and you all need to get off my (nonexistent) lawn! ;)
You're either the most energetic 84 year old I've ever known or I'm really prematurely ancient. :-)
Also in all seriousness, arthritis must be experienced to be believed.
Having body parts that don't work like they used to sucks big.

Yeah. That is typical movie bullshit. And yeah, while highways are tiring, they are way better than mountain roads :D But all in all I don't like driving much so I am probably the wrong person to properly judge this :D

Yes, it certainly does. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.
I'm going to check my library for something turn based that doesn't require the reflexes of a hyperactive 13 year old on a sugar rush.

How about Dragonfall?
Hello again everyone *big hugs and waves*

Survey was cut short because of troubles reaching the train station. The station was shut down temporarily which interrupted the city train system....don't know what happened there...

superstande: Yeah some, like Finland at least... there's lot of truth there. It's like how we Finns work emotionally... It's not the whole truth there, but enough to make me laugh a lot. Hard to put into words... But yeah something recognizable :)
And I presume there's some accuracy with at least some of the other Scandinavians too. I'm not sure about Iceland... That's maybe just a bit too silly, with that outfit :)
That's interesting. Thank you. I already thought it could that way but i wasn't sure about Finland ;)
Excuse me Galaxy, but WTF is this 538 MB update for stalker you've just auto-installed when I got the installers for the game 2 hours ago?

I sense a mystery.
-----
Okay this shite is downright annoying.

Galaxy just allocated 7 gigs for Dragonfall. Went in disbelief to check the download page on the website and... 1.6 gigs.
What's with the 5 gig difference?

Well, tell me a game you want up to 4-ish dollars (sorry, not that rich myself at the moment, but with the sale on there should be some nice things, right?) and you shall have it.
