CarrionCrow: Okay, I just checked all the parts and the game loaded properly with all characters showing on the select screen after installing the pieces in the order I stated.

1. Base game.
2. Mindgames DLC.
3. Gold Edition upgrade.
4. Gold Edition upgrade patch.
5. Pilgrim DLC.
6. Juggernaut DLC.
7. Necromancer DLC.
What game would this be?

l0rdtr3k: Is it on Netflix?Wait a minute...
Yep. Which is nice, since my DVD is packed.

EndreWhiteMane: That's funny, I just removed several from my wishlist and now 3 of them popped up. :-)
That is a great movie, I've watched it many times.
You can REMOVE things from your wishlist?? *gasp*

:D I love this movie. I just hadn't watched it in quite a while. (The movie novelization got me through a flight when it first came out, and even the novel is an homage to the old pulps, the way it's written. I spent a lot of time giggling my way through it.)

Stilton: Appreciate your effort. I'd probably end up stamping on this bastard if I'd loaded it all and it just hummed like a fucked TV ;-)

EDIT: Excuse me any ladies who might be browsing the forum.
-laughs- Same here. The saving grace to all the annoyance is that the game looks interesting, and no one can say there's no lack of variety. Once you add all the parts in, you have 11 different characters to choose from.

Of course you can. By buying them. =)

Not here in Brazil.
Like Twin Peaks or other titles due to copyright or licensing issues.Oh well,I can always catch it on cable.

The game in question is Sword of the Stars: The Pit.
Speaking of SciFi roguelikes, has anyone here tried Bionic Dues?

And if you have, had you ever played Super Robot Taisen (spelling)? Care to compare / contrast (I'm not expecting the same depth of plot as a single player RPG, mostly curious about if the gameplay in one would be enjoyable as compared to that in the other).

j0ekerr: And there was much rejoicing.

From what you tell us of the area, sandstorms, wild animals, the ocasional kaiju rampage, I'd imagine they'll prioritize sturdiness over bandwidth. Fortunately current communication technologies increase both.
A kaiju rampage would actually be pretty damned interesting, since there's a military base nearby full of people who spend their time practicing how to better drop bombs on things.
(Not even kidding on that, it shakes the house to no end when they do so.)
Also would I buy that Pirate game in a heartbeat were it not for the God awful reviews and terrible pixel visuals! The description sounds excellent, the implementation, crap! Please GoG hurry up and get the later Sea Dogs games I'm jonesing for a (modern-ish) pirate RPG! Hell, I'm so desperate I think I'd break down and do the equally broken Caribbean @ $2 if it shows up LOL.

That is just words beyond excellent. I think I might get a kick out of that were I to live there.

If anyone has noticed that my ramblings are even more more obtuse and disjointed than usual, it's due to lack of sleep.

So I'm going to bed now. See y'all around the bend later on.

:( Right now, I'm just glad I have digital copies of so many movies, aside from Netflix/Hulu. I'm starting on the two Robert Downey, Jr. Sherlock Holmes movies now... more that I love and haven't seen in forever. Yay for a Roku + Plex account!

And after Outlast passed the "boner test" I was just about to dare ask how you were going to decide on whether or not to purchase the expansion ;)

Good night!

Like most things, it loses its novelty after a while. Two of the dogs are nervous wrecks when the shaking occurs, and there was a time that a cargo plane flying overhead shook the landscape so hard that it literally shook a wall-mounted air conditioner unit out of its housing, making it hit the ground and break.

Hmm. I didn't notice, and I don't have lack of sleep to blame...

Have a good night, sleep well. =)

Just had a look at that other site and saw a new game that doesn't look too bad.
Sword Coast Legends.

Sounds like where the young Alvy Singer grew up in Annie Hall.
