LOL just pulled 1 gig in about 2 minutes!
As an aside, anyone in here know a way for me to switch between my main desktop being wired to the router and the "main" modem without having to unplug the modem?
Usually, my main computer is connected by cable to the router. When I want to pull downloads faster, I unplug the cable going from the router into the back of my PC, and plug the cable coming directly out of my modem into my PC. To get the computer to find the internet, I have to power down the modem for a few minutes.
Likewise, when I switch back to having my PC wired to the router, I have to again power down the modem. Is there a command I can input into the PC to "force" it to find the new path without powering down the modem? I know it's only a difference of about 5 minutes but I was just curious. Thanks!

XxXSprayvWarXxX: Yes, i understand that it comes from Gifting thead, but it is also on others guys who are making requests on it, so don't just judge me about it. I never also said that I have no money, if that goes directly to me.
EndreWhiteMane: None was directly meant for you, it's just an old tiring subject. I don't visit those threads at all, I like my rep.
I gift quite often and often people gift me, it's fun and if anything I gain rep in the process.
Earning friends is a lot more important to me thane getting a few free games.
Choice, freedom. Quite a very nice card.

If you can find a post by ElTerprise that you haven't already +1'd, it would be greatly appreciated if you would uprate that as well.
Ran around like a headless chicken in the heat, came back and found that he had ninja gifted me while I was gone. =)

These will work up to Windows 7, not sure if 8 changed anything.
Just run cmd.exe and type those 2 commands in there one at a time.

Awesome I knew there had to be a command - much, much appreciated! So I release the IP first then renew to find it again after I'm hooked up as I want to be? Thank you so much I hate power cord shuffling. The area behind my PC / desktop area isn't as bad as it could be, but let's be honest there are A LOT of tangled cords and such back there ;) And don't even get me started about dropping 'em down behind the back into the abyss!

I don't mind your rep. I only mind this constant talk about rep. We all know it is a stupid system and reading about it here all so often makes me want to get the time back I wasted reading all those posts.

Edit: There is one other caveat there, some cable modems want to see a certain hardware address, which is different than the IP address. Then you have no choice, power cycling is the only way.

XxXSprayvWarXxX: I'm hoping that I do not get judged from my Rep in here. Right guys? Is there someone in who is bothered?

I wouldn't dare hope, but after seeing a few other fairly recent games with a hefty markdown, I'm not going to count this one out. The other question will be, if it does show up, do I dare attempt it with mouse and keyboard? Or could it be... maybe... the first game EVER to entice me into hooking up a controller to my PC???
