Can't complain, just saw the sale and it should take a pretty large chunk off my list to clear out the old Interplay games that I want.

Is it false advertising if GOG says 60% and I only get 59%? I understand why, and I an not really bothered, but I am sure that legally that would be classed as false advertising. :-)

Not sure what the particulars are when it comes to international purchases, taxes, all that fun stuff.
Figuring something in the formula is what's causing the 1 percent difference.

It's the regional currency thing that causes it, it happens on every sale. But I was just curious if this could be seen as false advertising to claim a 60% sale when it's not. Again, I am not making an issue out of it, it was just something I thought about when I saw the % discount.

Are there many games on the list you are interested in? There is only one really for me, and that is mainly for me to play with my brothers.

GOG staff could probably answer your question and satisfy the curiosity. I'd just be pulling info out of thin air if I tried to do so.

No need to bother the staff with my question, it was just idle curiosity. I understand that it's due to the regional currency (if I change my currency to $, then I get 60% instead of 59%).

17 titles? Is that all the games, or just the ones that are high enough priority for you to buy at the moment?

The only game really is Kingpin. I tend to play FPS games with my brothers and I seem to recall them having this one when we were younger. But I am not too sure about it, which is why it's not on my wishlist.

I'm... meh. My drug withdrawal symptoms are making a bit of a resurgence today. I've been off for a month now... The withdrawal symptoms are very unpredictable, and could last another couple of months :-| ... Other than that, I'm okay. Nothing planned...
No games... I have all the ones I want... I might take a closer look at a couple before the weekend is over though.

The 17 are all list items put there either because of quality or infamy. This is the heaviest discount I've seen on Interplay items, so I might as well wipe them out. Clears the field a bit for clearing out their latest round of GOG releases when the time comes.

Makes sense, hopefully you and your brothers will enjoy it.
I very, very vaguely remember playing it, but haven't never given it a serious try.
I envy your strength and determination. Will hope that the bastard withdrawals subside so you can continue feeling better.

This evening, the owlet's Godfather and his wife come to visit us
Tomorrow afternoon, we'll go to my former colleague's wedding...
And Sunday afternoon, we go to visit my sister and celebrate Mother's Day with the kids...
Other than that, the owlet's Dad insists for us to go and eat at his colleague's place (teh owlet's Godmother) tomorrow evening, but it's too much things for me, I decline... offer him to go alone (it's not as if I wasn't used to it...) and he insists again... grmbl >:-|

Understandable, it's Friday. After a long week, the most motivation tends to be moving the clocks forward so you can get out of work early. ;)

Doing okay at the moment. Brain's buzzing along, lots of things to fiddle around with on the computer, so I'm still going despite my eyes being roughly halfway open at the moment.
