Good day to all.
CarrionCrow: Not sure, honestly. There's no food and no water, but every year there are swarms of them.
Curiouser and curiouser.
ZenWan: Hi everyone, it's a cool morning here, and I'm listening to some beautiful jazz..

Good to see you again @
HypersomniacLive, I hope that your back is feeling better. Sorry for my rudeness in never replying to your long-ago PM (RIP) but you are one of those who never showed up in my chat list at all, and trying to send you a chat / start a conversation, or whatever silly term they are now using, just gives me GOGspinning.
I tried to find a way to use Galaxy to download some games without installing them, but no luck. Anyone know if that can be done?
Also if it's possible to install games to an external hard drive? I have asked about this a few times, here and elsewhere, but no joy. I guess I'd better brave the Galaxy thread, or perhaps I'll try the blues, if they aren't too busy with Ricky and all his friends...
Hope you all have a good day / evening. Hope I get some of @
Crow's rain, but I know that hope is a vain one. :-(
Hey ZenWan,
Rest assured that I've not read any rudeness in the lack of a reply; I'm fully aware of the issues with the chat system and the botched transition of the old PMs - you're among the forty (40) or so contacts I'm missing, so no need to apologise for anything.
I'm not using the Galaxy client, but apparently standalone installers are considered "Extras" and listed along with the actual game extras; have you looked into that option?
Also, I've read several posts from people having a variety of issues if they don't install the client using the default location - could this be the case for you?
As for installing games to an external HDD - have you tried to point the client to yours? From what I'm reading, it's possible to change the install location. I'd assume that if your external HDD is permanently connected to your system, it should work and create the right registry entries, but since the client is in pre-beta state, it may not work.
