AnimalMother117: Rained on me on my way to class today. Been doing so for a while now, and it was practically a guarantee since I had this class today, which it always rains on since it's the longest walk.
avatar
CarrionCrow: Never a good thing when the rain knows where you'll be and has time to plan. You have my sympathies. =)
Thank you much. And I wish I was exaggerating with that but just about every day I've had this class for the past three months I recall some kind of precipitation. Made for an embarrassing scenario where I looked like a homeless puppy dog walking pathetically into class having attempted to use the hand dryer in the restroom to dry my hair and clothes.

You're quite welcome.
Every day for three months? Okay, yeah....I don't mean to alarm you, but it does sound entirely possible and increasingly probable that the weather is indeed stalking you and getting some kind of perverse joy out of drenching you every single time.
Also, pretty sure that hand dryers are provided as a mass joke on people in general. Can't even achieve hand dryness with them, so I can imagine how well hair and clothing drying worked out for you.

Well not every day. just every Tuesday and Thursday. And you imagined correctly (don't even need hear a description, it's probably right). Did I mention this is a language class? (i.e., talking to others in a mildly personal way)

I'm figuring a lot of leftover rain and a frustration level to match.
If you never ended up cursing about the weather during a class with a personal communication component, you are a far better person than I.

CarrionCrow: Going to be a long winter if it doesn't stop frigging raining....
Goodnight, sleep well when you get there. =)
Still raining, and sleep lasted only two hours.

How are you doing?

Can't complain, I guess. Probably going to sleep in a bit, watching Netflix and typing in the meantime.
It's a thrilling life, but someone has to do it.

tinyE: Well shit, how am I going to derail this!?
How can you derail something that didn't even start of a railo to speak of. :P

Happy Yule tide to everyone, even those that don't want to acknowledge that yule came first and Xmas cam last.

Amega had lots of potential, too bad Commodore and then Amega itself lost its way and it fell apart.
All right, time to sleep. Goodnight, everyone. ;)

Had? The amigas are still built. And scene is doing fine.
Commodore sure died almost 20 years ago.
Surely it's more for those who like tinkering..
Good morning, everyone !!
How are you doing ? :)
Anyone for a coffee ?

HypersomniacLive: Saw it the other day, then tears filled my eyes.

EndreWhiteMane: Yep, my daughter is a few over that, oh well. <sob>
Ho, please... stop whining !! :D
Don't you say, "you are only as old as you feel"... ?
(In french we'd say : "l'âge, c'est dans la tête" / "age is in your mind") :-)
Sometimes I feel like I'm 90... and like I've already lived so many things (good, and bad)...
I also know now some sixtyish which have a far more exciting and full life than mine... ^^
everything is relative ! :D as far as you're in a relative good health...
(which, again, is not necessarily directly linked to the number of years) !
Anyway, if it's any comfort, we would never have guessed you're both 80 and more ;-p hihi...
How are you all doing today?

You thought they were only 80? I figured at least 90. :-)
And just to make them feel even older, I am a few years younger than you.

I just wanted to be polite, DD...
Don't we need to respect our elders ? ^^
