The letter was written by some parents, whose daughter sadly dies a few weeks ago. It was a very sweet letter, but also quite an emotional letter.

I guess it could be Galaxy, but as you can interact with the forum through Galaxy, I would think it should show as online on the forum as well, but who knows.

I have not played the DOW 2 games. I am a DRM-free girl, so they were out of the question for me :-). Have you played them?

Part of me thinks we will be getting a new forum soon. That would explain all the bugs and the archiving of the older threads. I just hope that if we do it's not a mess like the new account system.

I am 100% sure I would not reconsider. Steam and DRM are just not for me. I have nothing against those who use them, but they are just not something I can support.

But I will make you a deal. When Games Workshop stops destroying the lore of 40K, stops destroying the balance of the game and the factions, stops treating the fans like crap, stops overcharging for their miniatures, and stops giving their IP licence to several crap game developers out there, then on that day I will try Steam and DRM. :-)

I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Maybe the forums check only against your browser and don't get any flags with galaxy.
