ddickinson: Part of the reason many see the mankini as dirty and the bikini not is due to the male dominated society we have (not starting a whole sexist debate here, just saying). Men enjoy seeing a woman in a skimpy outfit (who doesn't :-)), but seeing a man dressed like that makes many guys feel uncomfortable, so the whole concept of things like mankinis been dirty arrises, a bit like how many are put off by guys wearing budgie smugglers. :-)
Hmmm.... woman in skimpy outfits... nah... boring. But some nice guys... that sounds good :P

ddickinson: I did not, I gave Endre a nice comfortable one. You on the other hand might want to keep that mankini nice and dry, groin garrotting can be very painful. :-)
I was only kidding about the "shrinks when wet", I know you would only outfit us with the best.

It's ok, I'm used to a little shock treatment here, and there... but I'll avoid the water whenever possible. ;)

Of course! :P

(Had to look up "Budgie Smugglers" ;-p)
They all seem a bit dirty to me, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Dirty can be good :-) ... Personally, I find it a bit odd that anyone would wear such skimpy clothing... but to each their own, of course :-)
Do most women feel uncomfortable seeing other women in bikinis? (Genuine question. I have no idea.)

Nope. I just don't care.

GhostwriterDoF: I don't see any of that as dirty, but then again, I like to roll around in the mud... Still, I wouldn't look at a guy in skimpy clothes like I would at a women wearing skimpy (hopefully not the same) clothes... :P

But I can honestly say I haven't the foggiest when it comes to what a budgie smuggler is...
Budgie smuggler is an Australian expression. Google it, but make sure to do a Google image search first. :-)

I figured as much, that's why in the picture you were thinking of a nice guy in his mankini. :-)

Here you go, some Victorian women in their revealing swimsuits. :-)

(And to answer your question: not at all. But then I am not quite "most" women :-))

And of course, you are wearing a lab coat in the picture, and Endre loves a lady in a uniform. So you both get something nice to look at. :-)

Ha, I love coming in to a discussion like this. :P I guess there's no real answer to 'most women' anyway - I figure it just differs per person. It doesn't make me uncomfortable but I'm pretty relaxed about those things in general. I figure everyone should just wear what they want anyway, but sometimes I am glad I don't have to wear what somebody else is wearing. :P

P.S.: Those Victorian swimsuits are actually kind of nice, although I wouldn't want to wear one for swimming. :P
