Vnlr: ... I aim for intertwined mood swings throughout my pieces, which I try to sustain as good as possible with my meagre composing skills, mostly against a set background mood.
Does this strike anyone here as an unnacceptable viewpoint for an artist?
GhostwriterDoF: When it comes to expressing yourself through art, you can never really know what to expect from others who react and interpret your work, even when you attempt to lead them to conclusions. It's nice when you get praise and adulation, or even jeers for what you create, depending on what you are aiming for in a "reaction". The worst thing that can happen is people are unmoved, or have no reaction to your work, methinks.
Thanks for the insight :)
I don't really aim to publish anything I write. It's mostly meant as bagage for myself, and some way for me to get rid of unwanted stress.
I'm going to bid you all goodbye for today now ;)
I hope everyone present has a fine day, and best wishes to you all!!
