ddickinson: I would think they will be like this for a few weeks, especially once the Witcher 3 is released. I know you can download it now, but some people wait until after the release, as they don't care about playing it instantly upon release.

Evening all :)

Just actually checked out the new library properly for the first time. While the older boxes were definitely nicer, and it would be nice to at least be able to choose how many to show per page (not a problem for me yet anyway) I do quite like it. Drop down menu's are a little fiddly (and not smart, if they open at the bottom of the page they get hidden instead of opening upwards) but otherwise I quite like the functionality.
Have to think of some tags to create to start tagging everything with now... :)

Unfortunately it was not designed for old hardwares . And new hardware parts are expensive ( at least for me )

I still haven't looked into the complete shelf functionality but the dropdown menus annoy me...

Hey, not too bad thank you. You?

Yeah, the dropdown menus are a bit rubbish, the main problem is they are too big, so unless the game is at the top of the screen you can't see all the options, and when you scroll the menu closes again... which is irritating to say the least.

Doing good :)

Seems like they're done with a touchscreen in mind - otherwise the size wouldn't make any sense imho...

Possibly, I've only really looked at the chat and friends stuff when on my phone but I'll try and remember to see if it's any more convenient next time I'm on my phone.

I'm thinking more of tablets or laptops with touchscreens but maybe it's more convenient for phone too..which would be nice as the account was a real PITA when using it on a phone..

Question is, why would you even need to open your library with these dropdown menus with your phone? I can understand visiting the shop and the forum, but what use is the library there?

Good question - but as i said i thinkt they had tablets or these hybrid laptops in mind but i can imagine that even then the dropdown menu might be clunky to use...

Edit: Nevermind. Only clicking on the banner would make sense. The dropdown menu wouldn't...in that case it's a poor design decision...

Probably. But I think since these are computer games we are talking about and since gog does not really support tablets, the library should be optimised for computers.... but hey that would actually make sense, so let's not do this ;-)
