toxicTom: Still fighting that bad throat infection from last week. And it seem it got my wife too, which would be very bad concerning her job and training.
On the other hand I'm totally glad the antibiotics seem to work *knocking on wood*. If it had spread even more, I would have needed to go to an ENT clinic. And I have a horror of hospitals.
Well, crap. It always gets so much worse when it starts with one person feeling like crap, and then it spreads to everyone nearby.

Fingers crossed for the antibiotics' continued effectiveness, especially since I'm also not a fan of hospitals at all.

It's true that many Germans do have a particular accent, I can usually tell a German speaking English by their accent right away. I don't think it's an annoying accent though, I actually kind of like it. :P

But at least the accent is normally understandable. On some conferences I listened to presentations from guys from India. I have no idea what they were talking about :D

Yeah - i know. The best thing is that some of them are convinced that their accent represents the best english ;)

Um, how to explain. Basically Louis van Gaal only less bad in most cases. He's really kind of extreme, but it serves to illustrate the basic idea. :P I must say in general younger people are a lot better at speaking English than older people though, so there's definitely an improvement incoming.
