adaliabooks: They need you on the payroll :)

moonshineshadow: That would be a bad idea. Since from the additional money I would buy probably more games and I already own enough for a lifetime :D
Ah, but you could use the money to feed your ninja gifting obsession ;)

ElTerprise: Good evening. Yup. Doing great - apart from being tired how are you?

And awesome photos :)
Good to hear, and cheers.

As for how I'm doing, see below.

moonshineshadow: *welcome wave* Awesome pictures. I want to be there :D
Are you doing ok aside from being tired?

*waves back*

You're very welcome to come spend an afternoon here, and enjoy the scenery for yourself. :-)

The weather's quite humid these past few days, so my back's still giving me trouble, but I'll manage, it's nth new.

My friend has now two additional health issues which understandably added to my sadness and frustration.

Other than that, today and tomorrow is "bills day", with the extra touch of having gotten a hospital bill that was supposed to have been settled months ago; isn't these things lots of fun? ;-P

I'll have to check Visionaire out, never heard of it before.

I guess you're not much of the adventure games type, if you haven't heard of Visionaire, eh?

I think I am already feeding it enough ;-)
I am trying to limit myself :D

Visionaire is intended for Adventure games. I had a look at it and tried the demo and I could work with it quite well :-)
Oooo, nice, and affordable too for licenses! Adventure Game specific too, interesting.

I've seen similar game engines available, I think Steam has a few of them, one that I was interested in that could make turn based combat in, but only if I could run it without need of the Steam Client.

Looking forward to hearing more about your game development, and seeing the games you create too!

It's monumental Monuments day! DD's creation of the day could be made into a game too. :D

Meh. *sending some hugs to your friend* I hope she'll get better on the additional stuff soon and on the main problem also even if it takes time!
And yeah bills are always "fun". Sadly nothing can be done about them. Hope you will at least feel better soon.

I will see how the game for my mum turns out, if it goes well and if I have some nice ideas I might make something else which is not so exclusive. But I guess it will take the rest of the year to finish the current project, so some time before I would even consider something else :-)

But it might be fun to collect the pictures from dd and owl and put them in a mini-adventure :P

Well, it's not that I don't like Adventure games, it's just that I never seem to get through to the end of them. heh!
But I'm trying to change that...

Those were great pictures, thanks for posting them. It's really good to see through the eyes of our fellow tribal GoG community friends, with the help of a camera lens... :D

Thank you :).

I hope your friend get better soon :)

And for bills: Yeah they can be really a pain in the a...(wanted to use the german word but it's not that different than the english one) ;)
avatar
GhostwriterDoF: I'll be glad to help with the game testing, and offer feedback and ideas, even before any of them are finished. :)
avatar
adaliabooks: I might just take you up on that...
So while I've done some research on stuff like this in the past (for writing) and have a variety of sources saved, when it comes down to implementing it it would be nice to have someone who knew what they were talking about to advise...
Sure, anytime I can be of help, just let me know. It's fun to team up with other creative minds, gives us a much greater possibility of seeing things we might not have thought of on our own. ;)

That's what PITA stands for. I was really surprised how often this abbreviation is used by professional devs in blog posts etc.

Hmm...good to know, thanks ;). I actually haven't of that abbreviation before.

Well, she'll be on medication for the rest of her life for one of them, and the other needs surgery, but thanks for the hugs, I'll make sure to pass them on.

Hi Hyper, sorry your friend is having a tough go of it. As long as she's still 'going' things can get better though.
Very nice sunset pics! And I see my bill paying/medical stuff has claimed you this week too. Yuck.

Oh, and would you ask Moon where my Galaxy Beta is? :-)

It's usually getting stuck, those puzzles that defy logic throw me for off
and then I'll get distracted by a new game, or the call of the backlog... heh!

Aloha Endre! :)

Yes, someone should ask Moonshine where my Galaxy Beta is hiding too!
