ElTerprise: Okay everyone - nearly hit my head on the table...i think i'm going to bed right now...
*good night hugs and waves*

See you all later :)
Night, sleep well and try not to dream of boob milk. ;)

EndreWhiteMane: You can carry 8 conversations at once and these 3 guys can confuse you in under 3 minutes?!?!?
Perfectly understandable, they do it to me all the time. :-)
It's a talent, I guess. ;)

Also, still have those ribs for you...

Steam removes the paid mods stuff. I still won't go back.
That's a pretty hilarious statement, watching the competition and Bethesda get their teeth kicked in and having to backpedal.

Yeah, don't do that, the table almost always wins.

Have a good night, sleep well. =)

CarrionCrow: Yeah...I know we've discussed shows being up their own ass, trying to cover bad storytelling in a smokescreen of philosophical concepts, but holy frigging crap would I rather take one of those than something like that.
It reminds me of a review site I found years ago. The interesting thing was that the reviewer held an open embarrassment about his own hobby because to people outside his immediate circle of friends, the entirety of anime was associated with the worst examples of it.

l0rdtr3k: These shows try to cover bad storytelling with in your face fanservice and I hate them even more than the ones that contemplate their navels.
A show I'm watching right now that's turning out to be pretty good? Attack on Titan.
Apparently I'm a dub fan, since I didn't really connect with it fully while watching the subbed version, but even with some over the top voice acting and a frequent shrillness that makes me want certain characters to die horribly, it's enjoyable overall.

Howdy Crow, haven't talked to you in a while.
Boy, I hope they've been in the fridge. That was days ago. :-)

I would be happy to stay away from that rental place if someone could find me a copy of Galactic Civilizations II: Ultimate Edition that wasn't $245.00. :/

Hey there. =)

Yeah, downside of playing a game with no windowed mode. Can't shift back and forth as I'd prefer to.

I considered that. Would make a fresh batch at this point, to me the quality begins to decline from the second you take them out of the oven. But I didn't want you to think I hadn't noticed your comments on the subject.

Right...sometimes you're stuck if you want to play something that reseller assholes have spiked the physical copy prices on.
It's like physical copies of Chrono Trigger. I've seen people wanting to charge over a hundred dollars for a single cartridge that consists of less data than a 5 minute song file.

Watch Kill la Kill next. It's also pretty damn awesome and Jojo,Parasyte and Gintama.

It's the opposite for me, not because I'm one of those stick up their arse purists, but because when I can actually understand what they're saying I feel embarrassed at the awkward and cheesy lines of dialogue and sorry for the actors who have to say them.

And I shall leave for bed now as well. Goodbye.

Most of the stuff I have there is pretty much the same deal. There are very few 4x games out there as it is, it sucks that I can't get 'real' copies some of the good ones. Sword of the Stars is the same thing, all 'buy' buttons wind up at Steam.
I'd buy Star Ruler 2 here, and still might, but it's a bit lighter on the colonization part and heavier on battles.

BTW: Going to go into the Kerbal space-ship building business? :-)

Three of those four were already on my mental list to watch.
Whether I get to them before or after Champloo and Full Metal, I don't know. But I'll get there.

It's the distribution shift. The more items are digital-only, the more people are going to raise prices on items you can't get on disk anymore. It's going to make a total mess of things for anyone who doesn't want to be limited to digital services.

Thinking about it, but it's not an instant purchase for me. I already have so many games, only really on the lookout for items that rank as high priority to me. Everything else can wait.

How about you, thinking of getting that one?

I guess the crap writing mixed with crap delivery are things I'm willing to deal with, to a certain extent.

That would explain part of why I think so highly of Black Lagoon. The dubbed version is actually pretty excellent in the writing and voice acting departments.

It's tempting because it's so different from anything else I have. Same situation as you though, when would I find time to play it? It's pricey too.
Probably wait for the next time it's on sale.

Supposedly 'big things' happening tomorrow. Wonder what?

Hoping it's a Star Wars sale that goes up to May 4th, along with new releases from the franchise. We can cross fingers.....

Yes, 30 dollars for something that might end up sitting on your shelf for quite a while, so you can look at it from time to time and think, "I could've waited a few months and saved money buying it!"

The word usage was "something special". So I'm thinking it's either another big sale, or some deeply desired items getting released, unless GOG's definition is different and it turns out to be something else entirely.
Enjoy your evenings all, off to bed with me as soon as a download finishes.
