hummer010: I'm going to Disneyland! It's been booked for months, but now that we leave in just over a week I'm getting excited! Things weren't looking too good for us when the adoption happened in January. The adoption isn't finalized yet (takes months), so at this point we are joint guardians with the birth mother. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops, and a bunch of red tape to get my hands on a passport for him, but it finally came in the mail yesterday, so we are good to go.

My 5 year old doesn't know. He just knows we are flying to see his grandparents, which we've done before. We haven't decided when we are going to tell him.

I hope everything will go well and quickly, for your adoption... how old is your little one, now ? :)
Your son will be so happy about Disney... it must be huge in USA !!! What about not telling him at all until you're in front of the entrance gate ? :-p

Yes it's limited. I didn't mean she was going to a thousand tomorrow. But if you get 15 points by upvoting iirc they will just be spread across the next 5 days or so. Sp you don't lose them, they just trickle in. May the rep system be broken as it may - that's actually a pretty good idea.

I didn't have much time to post, I tried to check the thread at least once in a couple of hours, but of course, most of the time I couldn't keep up. Let alone post something meaningful.
