They're built a world with some serious lore to it, it looks like every NPC of note has a full-on backstory that I've barely begun to scratch the surface of, and it's chock full of dialogue, flavor text and additional info.
Looks like it's going to be a rewarding experience, so long as I put the time in to fully absorb it all.
Sorry to hear that your program's being a pain, but at the same time, I get your feelings regarding phones since I tend to be the exact same way.
Additional - Getting a new kind of error, now I apparently can't open GOG's main page. Firefox is saying that the page isn't redirecting properly.

Now that there finally is such a great amount of good rpgs.
Back in the 90's it was hard to get those when all I had was a slow amiga and spent too much money boozing :)
This Spring Divinity II has already lasted at least 150 hours, maybe 3/4 through when Flames of Vengeance is included.
Already feel like come on, want this over, although it's been great time!
A bit like a very long romantic night activity. Too much is too much :p
It's a rare thing that keeps a person at the same level of interest for 100+ hours.
I've been sitting on the Divinity series for a while, didn't think they had a game with super-long duration to it.
Given the time you spent just on one, the whole series up to the point of Original Sin would go 250, possibly close to 300 hours, if not more. Sheesh.

Hopefully you're having some pleasantness here and there to enhance your standard okay day.

How are you doing?
Can't complain here, another quiet night. Playing some Pillars, actually sinking my teeth into it a bit and enjoying it.
Amazing how much better the combat gets when a frail spellcaster finally gets a fighter to bring along. -laughs-
Might find a horror movie or something on Netflix for a change of pace in between waiting to see what the next bundles are.

Or perhaps I am just enjoying cutting everything into pieces more than burning them to ash ;-)

If anything, I usually go for clerics since they live longer than fighters in a D&D video game with their combo of heavy armor and ability to cast healing spells on themselves.
Ended up trying a cipher, a spellcaster type who fuels their magic by attacking enemies in physical combat.
Bit of a change from the usual there, more risk but also more reward since my character doesn't have to rest to regain spells like a wizard does.
But even so, fighters are always crucial. An encounter that took my character and a wizard sidekick apart was no problem when the fighter was there to tie them up.
Given that there's no resurrection in Pillars, they're even more important. If a character gets dropped to zero health, they get maimed.
One hit point, massive penalties to all actions, and if they lose that one hit point for any reason, they're permanently dead.
So you have to use one of your four sets of camping supplies in order to rest and restore them. Figuring that limit will end up getting me killed more than once.

But that just means following the good old advice of saving often.
Spellcasters can be nice, I had one in the party in Legend of Grimrock 1+2 and with the front line of two fighters he was quite useful. But normally I prefer games with only one hero like Gothic and there fighters are just so much more fun (at least for me) :D

Crow,
Maybe you can do the Divinity series quicker. My pace is from the slower end.
Tend to do 90% of the sidequests because then the end boss tends to be quite easy.
Also I have a tendency to try all kinds of strange things.
But yeah they are long no doubt.

(I say this now...a few dozen deaths down the road and my tune will probably be far more bitchy on the subject. ;) )
Still need to do the Gothic/Risen sets. Always easier to focus when you've got one character rather than 4 or 6.

I keep thinking of starting with Original Sin when I'm able to get it, but it's very weird to me to start the 5th game in a series without beating the first 4 beforehand.

Can't complain here, currently sucking down a fresh pot of coffee.
How's your day going so far?

How are you doing today?
How are you today? Do you think you will have time to fix your simulation today? What time are you leaving to go to your parents? And don't worry, I have not forgotten to look out for games from your wishlist on the promo today, hopefully I can get lots and lots of games for you. :-)

How's your day going so far?
How is the weather for you, are you still having sandstorms?
My day is going really well so far, just starting the foundation work for the last greenhouse - a bit of brickwork for the base and a temporary wooden framework. Other than that I am feeling great today, one of those days when you wake up and just feel really happy for no special reason.
Do you have anything nice planned for the day?

-laughs- I'll get to it. If I've got garbage games on the list, I'll certainly be playing the good ones as well.

And who cares if it is not an adult thing, it sounds like fun and that is the thing that matters :D
I think I should be able to fix the simulation today, I talked to my Prof. this morning after I did all the stuff he wanted the last two days and he is happy now, so I can go back to the simulation.
And I am leaving shortly before three, so yes this is your chance, I'll not be here when the new bundles turn up ;-)

I have not played it either.
*Runs away before Moon lynches me* :-)
My most favorite games are Gothic 1 and 2, Lands of Lore 1 and Day of the Tentacle. They are awesome, everyone needs to play them :P

So I finally get a chance to do some ninja gifting. Knowing my luck it will be another day with some dull bundles. Hopefully now, hopefully I can at least get you some games, because we have to make sure we gift the gifters. :-)
