EndreWhiteMane: Doing an update?
avatar
CarrionCrow: Bought a phone a while back, but given how many games I have for other things, it seemed wrong to not have some on the phone as well.
Saw something mentioned on Humble, it looked good so I'm grabbing it.
Granted, it's a Doctor Who-themed gem matcher, but the production value looks good at least.
If it's an android smart phone I recommend keeping an eye on Amazon as they're always giving away free games and apps. You have to use their useless app store to download them, but I've got quite a few games (and to be honest all my mobile games) that way.

I'll be sure to keep that in mind, thank you. Free legal games work for me. =)

Phones are too small for eyes, I just have an antique 'dumb' flip phone for calls. I do however have a tablet that I like for a few games, plus if I'm in range of wi-fi it works as a phone too. Could get a 3G account for it but I'm too cheap. So many gadgets. :-)

In fact, they're still giving away a bunch of them: http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=amb_link_428360142_2?ie=UTF8&node=10076151011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-right-2&pf_rd_r=09Z0DCJ5HMYEAPNZWFWD&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=2013843622&pf_rd_i=2350149011

I can recommend Kingdom Rush and Might & Magic Clash of Heroes (I haven't played the mobile versions of either, but the PC version of Kingdom rush is a great tower defence game and the original DS version of Clash of Heroes is excellent, a blend of strategy and match 3).

Thankfully I remembered how to zoom in. Main problem right now is phones being too small for hands.
Me sending texts is a slow-motion comedy of errors.
If I ended up with a tablet, it'd be the same situation as you - another thing that needs a paid account to run fully.
My wishlist is still WAYYYYYYYYYY too long for such things.

Absolutely excellent timing on your part. Was thinking of picking up Clash of Heroes, but now I don't have to consider paying 6 dollars for it. Thank you. =)

No problem :)

I've managed to build up quite a collection from Amazon's free stuff, they also do a free game / app every day but the quality of those isn't always great. But if you can be bothered to check it regularly you can get some decent stuff too.

I'd also recommend signing up to their Local Deals service (if you can be bothered to wade through the 2 - 3 emails a day) as they do occasionally send out free £1 or £2 app or music download vouchers. It has been a while since they've done it though so I'm not sure whether it's still worth doing (or if they do the same thing in the USA)
Clash of Heroes
Looks like a bit of a draw. They've both got stuff falling out of them.

The emails wouldn't bother me. Free stuff makes the annoyance fade pretty quickly. -laughs-

The same wish to you and yours for the new year. =)
(And no, I'm not going to even attempt to present that in any other language. Doing well to type in English half the time. -laughs-)
