Any crafters willing to help me finish it?
Also, I need an opinion on how to do the spiky bits at the top.

CarrionCrow: All my naps are keyboard naps. -laughs-
Forgot how much TV makes my brain shut down. Doing a multi-season marathon has thoroughly reminded me, though.
I don't give a shit about the characters the show wants me to care about, and I wish that the main character would get hit by a bus.
EndreWhiteMane: Pretty much the same way here with most tv/movies. Forgot how much TV makes my brain shut down. Doing a multi-season marathon has thoroughly reminded me, though.

1/2hr in I say screw it and go to bed. Too much stupid most times. ;)
Now I have a few items that are high priority and the others are subject to change at a moment's boredom. -laughs-

Ragnarblackmane: You know what got me more into baseball as a young teen, after I lost interest for a few years? Deep Space Nine and Captain Sisko's obsession with the game. Fun stuff.
I did not know he was a baseball fan - that's awesome. You know, I always wanted to get into DS9, but by the time I was told how great it was it was deep into its ongoing plot and I was lost. Had no clue about creatures in the wormhole or the weird orbs, missed the entire line about why the Cardassians were on the station and then when the major fleets assembled I didn't know where they came from or who was fighting whom. I always manged to "jump in" right when I needed to know the most. And never had good luck finding a good re-airing with all the episodes run regularly in proper order. Now that doing such things is so much easier I have to get around to it. Also LOL at the new avatar. Without the post reply I might never have realized it was you LOL ;) Things well?
What show?

Good evening, everyone!
I hope you have all had a nice weekend?
I was going through some boxes in the attic a little earlier and I found my old PS2 and my GameCube, complete with some lovely games that bring back so many wonderful memories. My partner and I are going to have a Capcom horror themed playthrough and enjoy the Resident Evil games on the GameCube (Resident Evil 0,1,2,3, and Veronica), and the two Dino Crisis games on the PS2, even though they are actually Play Station 1 games. I love the weapon buying system and the setting on Dino Crisis 2, but the first game was more scary and was probably my favourite of the two games. It should be lots of fun reliving those wonderful days when Resident Evil was still good (and yes I know some people like the new ones, but I didn't, so there :-þ).
Speaking of Resident Evil (3), I can't help but feel that every time I hear Nemesis say S.T.A.R.S., I will be thinking of our own little star hunting Owl. :-)

Now laughing my ass off with the image of a small owl with a goofy grin all of a sudden saying stars in the Nemesis' voice. I hope you have all had a nice weekend?

Damn it, if I could draw with any ability whatsoever, there'd be an Owl picture, only she's wearing the Nemesis outfit and carrying an owl-sized rocket launcher.
That sounds like a really fun time. I'm happy that you've got someone who can appreciate such an experience. =)

I know, as soon as I saw the box and remembered the way he said S.T.A.R.S., I pictured Owl saying it that way. It would indeed be cool seeing a Nemesis/Owl hybrid. I am looking forward to re-playing some old games, especially games that I have a lot of fun playing.
How are you tonight, Crow? Have you had a nice weekend?
Hello!
I am not too good today, but that is due to me spending time at the children's hospice, and that always gets me a bit sad and emotional seeing those ill kids and knowing that they are all terminal. But other than that I am okay.
How are you? I am sorry to hear about your sad news earlier. I am sure it was not your fault. You are bound to blame yourself, but it sounds like there was nothing you could have done. Are you dealing with it all okay? I know all too well what it is like watching someone die, although not in the same situation as you. My PM is always open for you if you need to talk.

Roommates will be back soon, might end up running errands after that. Otherwise it'll be a routine day.
Trying to chew through the rest of what I'm watching on Netflix so I can really start playing Pillars without getting distracted.

CarrionCrow: It's been quiet here. The most excitement was trying to get a cat to stop noisily gnawing on some mouse that didn't have the sense to avoid property with seven predators prowling around most of the time.

Maybe the mouse fancied his chances and thought he could get in and out without getting caught. Maybe your sadistic game playing has spread to the mice and made them enjoy suicidal games, except for them there is no retry if they fail. I hope your day of errands goes well, and that you manage to get rid of those distractions so you can enjoy Pillars. How are you liking the game? Is it worth the price and hype?

Anything without a way to fight back (snake, scorpion, poisonous spider, coyote, owl) doesn't have great odds of survival around here.
The errands probably won't be anything big, and that's assuming the roommates don't do the shopping and what-not themselves on the way back.
I've just scratched the surface of the game, but I like what I see quite a bit. The voice acting's good, you decide how your character is viewed by others based on the choices you make, the music's good, the combat's enjoyable, and the classes have a lot of customization to them in that no skills, weapons or armor are out of bounds for any one class.
Sorted my problem of what kind of character to play as since I can choose the skill that dictates finding hidden doors and opening locked items whether I'm a rogue or not.
So now I've got a character that can do those things while having an array of magic that either causes negative status effects to enemies or harms them outright. Best of both worlds.
One interesting thing I'm noticing that wasn't pulled from Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale are scripted sections where you make choices and have effects added depending on your abilities.
Example - found a bit of wall that looked like it might be broken down. If your might's high enough, you can smash your way through.
If you don't, there's a pick and chisel in another part of the dungeon that can also be used, but due to the exertion of using it, your characters take on fatigue-based negative effects.
It actually reminds me a little bit of a choose your own adventure book in that way, which I definitely wouldn't have thought was included.
First impressions are definitely favorable, and I'll undoubtedly be going on about it more as I really get into it.
