moonshineshadow: *big hug* Did you have a nice evening?

Hello, Moonshine!

I had a very lovely evening, thank you. How are you, have you had a nice evening?
My evening was nice. Was reading for a bit and testing a new device I bought. Now I am considering my games list again. I need a fun RPG :D

ddickinson: Just some classical music, Mozart I think (I love classical music, but I am no expert. I have it on shuffle.). I know, my taste in music is so very exciting. :-)
Nice. I like classical music. I can really relax when listening to classical music (and jazz...). Lastly mostly Nabucco from Verdi (I really like Va pensiero) and a bit of Tchaikovsky. My taste in music is diverse...:).

Edit: Uhm...what's the GOGbear doing here....??

Visiting us because he is lonely and wants some hugs too? :P
Tired and sad about my situation and today was quite tiresome to me,so much that I've slept a little on the museum bathroom.

A new device? Is this another tool to go with your simulations for world domination? :-)

A fun RPG? I have not played many for a long time, so I can offer no real advice. But I can suggest my random method again if you get stuck. Just list the RPG games you have that you would be interested in playing and pick one at random.

P.S. I think I am nearing completion with Legend of Grimrock, and I am enjoying it so far. There are a few things that annoy me a little, but overall it is a fun game.

I enjoy Jazz as well, well some types of Jazz, but I mainly listen to classical music. I have always found it quite relaxing and soothing. Tchaikovsky is one I keep getting stuck in my head recently. For a while now I have had his Overture 1812 stuck in my head, especially the last part, and usually while I am doing something hectic at work. My partner bought me lots of classical music and I have them all together on shuffle, so I do not often know who I am listening to. I know the bigger names, but a lot of it is unknown to me as I have never really taken the time to learn who composed what and what music is called what. I just enjoy the music.

Yes classical tends to do be stuck in one's head. For me it was the Waltz of the Flowers from Tchaikovsky for some time now (possibly because i watched Corto Maltese in Siberia on youtube- french with english subs^^). I actually have to look up Overture 1812 now. As i'm not an expert in terms of classical music either i also just enjoy the music without knowing who composed it :).

Sorry to hear that. It is bound to get you a little upset with all that has been going on. I know it does not mean much now, but it will get a little better as things settle down. Humans are hardy creatures and we are good at adapting to things life throws at us. Remember we are always here for you should you need someone to talk to or just to let of some steam.

I hope you are able to get some rest and won't be as tired. Try to take care of yourself and remember that you are strong enough to cope with that is happening and that your family will need you to be strong for them.

*Big comforting hug*

Yeah I am thinking about expanding my game list to include categories. That would make drawing a random game of a certain type much easier :D

Glad that you have fun with Legend of Grimrock. What are the small things that annoy you? Then I can tell you if they also are like that in the second game or if it was improved if you want :-)

It's nothing major, just things like buttons that open secret doors, but you have no idea where the doors are. I preferred it earlier on in the game when it open something in the same room so you knew what was going on. Also, there was a level where there where three items on shelves around a center location. It took me forever to figure out that I had to take all the items off the shelf for the walls to lift up and allow me to progress onto the next section. I had left a scroll on the shelf after I read it (it is possible I missed some clue about this, but who knows). There is also the magic system (and the food system is a little annoying as well at times). I understand the use of runes, but it does get complicated trying to remember all those combinations.

As I said, nothing major, and probably things that are normal for a dungeon crawler, but I have not played many (if any at all before this one), so they are all kind of new to me and some just seem a little annoying. But that has not stopped me enjoying the game, and I am sure I will enjoy the second game once I beat this one.

Die Mutter schüttelts Bäumelein,
Da fällt herab ein Träumelein.
Schlaf, Kindlein, schlaf!

Hopefully it'll work :).

Yeah the food stuff with the starving can get a bit annoying. That is a Legend of Grimrock mechanic. For example Lands of Lore or Anvil of Dawn don't have that.
In regards of the magic system: I was never much into those magic stuff, so normally I ended up using always the same spell and if something specific was needed I had to look up the spells :D

You don`t know J.B.O.? Man, you missed something. You gotta hear their version of "Ein bißchen Frieden"!
