l0rdtr3k: I'll talk...
My uncle abandoned my grandmother, they lived together and he pretty much put her on a bus to my family and the bastard pretty much said:"Now it's your problem,LOL. BRB,gettin married".
Now I've lost my room,my mom is having a nervous breakdown my brother abandoned his tour to help us out and my father is fearfull of another heart attack due to the situation.
What's the deal with your grandmother? Really bad health, anything like that, something that requires a constant caregiver?

Oh....i'm so sorry. That's a terrible situation...
Family members should never ever act like your uncle did - no matter the situation.

ElTerprise: Definitely. The reason why i really like GOG is because it has (mostly) good old games and some interesting new games which only exist because of digital distribution.
Moin from a cold but sunny place (sorry...) :).

I'm doing fine and tomorrow university continues. Everything alright :).

How are you doing today?
No need to be sorry - unless you have weather-controlling powers! ;-)

What does the" University continues" entail?

As for how I'm doing, see bellow.

GhostwriterDoF: Well, here in the Los Angeles area, and across the Country in general, it's definitely gotten out of hand...
Even the men are overly plucking their brows. heh!
Good Monday to you too.

Apparently it's the Easter holiday still lingers through today for some.

Hope you are feeling good and starting off the week on a positive note,
with some good music choices to start the day. (As you did mention before
that we have complimentary music interests).
Hi GhostwriterDoF,

I'm quite well, thanks for asking. I started the week lighter... by 500€; yeah for paying bills! ;-P
Kept the lighter part, threw the reason away, and keep smiling.

I listen to all sorts of music; I've started the week in the company of [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDKOMzSaZ3Y]Garrett, E.S Posthumus, , [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhG8zC4npsE]Annie Lennox, [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQcGRaeGbVQ]a bit of [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLXQltR7vUQ]Morricone, and Miracle Of Sound paying tribute to Geralt. Don't know if any of these appeal to you.

I see your eyebrow got a life of its own. Mine does too, but in the opposite direction - it tends to rise a lot, sometimes it feels like it's trying to reach my hair.

ddickinson: I have never heard of that one, but then we do not get all those exotic Mediterranean porn shows that you all get. :-)

I am only joking, I will have a look at the play some more once I have some free time. It's not surprising I have not heard of it, despite enjoying the theatre I am far from an expert, especially with foreign shows.

How are you today? It is nice and sunny here, I hope you have some lovely weather where you are?

[...]
I suppose that you stiff upper lip folks couldn't handle all these exotic Mediterranean porn shows. ;-P

I'm no expert either, but it's one of his most renowned plays. It's got a bit of an ancient Greek tragedy vibe to it (my absolute favourite), and quite a few of interesting themes.

It's awfully wet, windy and chilly here, but at least it stopped raining, and I'm still smiling.

Good to hear your arm's much better. How's your mother doing?

For me the new semester starts tomorrow - finally really in the master's programme :).#

And no, unfortunately i don't have any weather-controlling powers ;).

She's just old. 70 to be exact.
*pops in* How's everyone holding up today?

Good morning. =)

Can't complain here, aside from being reminded that early-onset arthritis is a pain while playing Super Hexagon.

How's your day going?

All right...for the time being, the best thing you can do, in my opinion, would be to do whatever you can to help keep your mom and dad calm.
If she loses her mind for a bit and he has a heart attack, that leaves you with three massive problems instead of just one.

Ah, yes, definitely all good music, I’m partial to haunting melodies.. and Annie Lennox! What a voice and character!

I think the older we get, the more the eyebrows are going to grow with a mind of their own. ;)

Howdy! Don't get to see you around in the Threads as often as we used to.

Yes, you can. You get total control of party composition. Makes me think of Final Fantasy 1 in that regard.

If I may, you all need to calm down, you're only stressing each other. What's done is done, and you now have to make the best out of the situation. Since your grandmother is well in her health (and 70 is not that old), she won't really be a burden to anyone, and could even contribute in the household in small ways. It will just take a bit of time for all of you to adjust, and figure out how things work the best for all of you.

This comes from someone that grew up with an ill grandmother (R.I.P.) in their home for years, the last two of them with her immobilized in bed (broke her thighbone, could not be operated, didn't heal properly, never walked again). It took some coordinating and working together as a family, but we made it just fine.

Why did I read that as Icewind Date?
Hmpf...great i messed up ubuntu... this calls for a re-installation but this time it'll be xubuntu instead of ubuntu *sigh*

Wonderful. Sounds like an enormous pain having to reinstall an entire OS.
