Good afternoon, morning people and shoggoths.
Just finished catching up to the thread.
ddickinson: I know what the Blue Screen Of Death is, but I did not recognise BSODs. So thank you for letting me know.
HypersomniacLive: Now, what did your dirty little mind think of? ;-P
Butt Sechs On Demand?
Jwan4321: Or they cheat and use TV-magic, having a fully cooked, already prepared finished dish hiding in the stove, and they can completely botch up the order, and pull out the picture perfect one as needed. Cereal won*, only because I am still looking for the prize. It is no fun to just empty the box out and grab it.
CarrionCrow: Correct. I always like Good Eats' approach, in which Alton Brown acknowledges the existence of TV time fully.
(Also, that show is pretty much the best cooking show in existence. That helps quite a bit.)
I just spent 20 minutes on youtube watching Alton Brown show how to cook your own porterhouse steaks.
Time well spent.
CarrionCrow: If we're lucky, the Arkham games will end up here. In that case, would definitely echo their recommendation.
Cleared both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City fully, they're both excellent.
Before the advent of the lego games, I'd have said that we'd have a better chance of tricking Crow into drinking decaff. But now there is a slim glimmer of hope that they might be on the catalog one day. But even so we will probably have to wait a looong time for them.
Excellent is a poor word to describe them, they're beyond that. They're atmospheric, superbly designed, and the only games that make you feel like
the goddamn Batman! Very nice to hear that both DD's mom and herself are recuperating nicely. In spite of heroically keeping pregnant women from breaking their own necks. That actually sounds like a comic book story.
ddickinson: My arm is okay, it's more painful than it was, but I don't regret it. These things happen, it's not like the lady just thought it would be fun to faint. It took her a few minutes to wake up and she was really worried about the baby. She was okay, just a little shaken. I got a very nice muffin from her as a thank you. :-)
MUFFINS! In other news. FUCK! Holy week officially starts tomorrow, I had almost completely forgotten all about it.
I wish I still could.
On the other hand, that means it's time for torrijas which... I really don't care much about.
