ElTerprise: Too many to choose from? Maybe the thread can help you. You could do a poll ;).
avatar
moonshineshadow: But for that I would have to narrow down the choices :P
Normally I end up scrolling my game list up and down taking days to finally decide on something :D
So...that many...can you narrow it down to a genre?

Since I am looking for something to play instead Anvil of Dawn the genre should be roleplay or action-adventure.

Indiana Jones? (Emperor's Tomb counts as action-adventure)

Too bad. I also played it years ago. It's really great. Bought it here after relaease to play it again some time.
avatar
moonshineshadow: Not sure yet. I am a bit frustrated at the moment. I was considering to play something different for a while before going back... but there is this problem again of choosing a game :D
How about you try Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy)? Crow always speaks very highly of it. ;-)

Are you looking for a quick game or a more in-depth game?

I still have the original disks, not sure if they would work on my new pc and my old pc is having some problems, I might end up buying it here again as backup ;-)

Now you are just being mean :P
I would not mind a more in-depth game but is does not need to be one :-)

I don't know what you mean :-). I intend to play Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) some day, just to see if it is as dull as people say. I have heard many people say it is just an interactive story, and not even a very good one. I am not overly keen on games with little gameplay. But I will have to see, maybe I will be one of the strange ones that give it a 5 star review. :-)

Is there any game on your wishlist that you fancy playing? You never know, it could find it's way in to your PM box. *tried to look all innocent* :-)

Jwan4321: Today is already a good day, learned a new word: Moin

Moin everyone. Hope your day is going well.

Edit: Should explain, Moin means Hi, or Hello in Danish/German.

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

Can't complain too much here. Games, Netflix, computer stuff. How's the day treating you?
Pretty well, and same, games/netflix/computer stuff does keep me occupied for the most part. Youtube surfing lead me into a bunch of cooking clips. I can barely toast bread, but suddenly I think I can pan sear a roast and make a reduction sauce for it while making some wild herb couscous with spinach and cheese puffs. Or... I'll have some cereal and just go back to watching lets play videos. It is a toss up, but I think there may be a prize inside one of the cereal boxes.

*extra big hug* You can stop trying to look innocent, it does not work :P
But you are right, maybe I should check me wishlist, which is also much faster since the list is much shorter ;-)

And regarding Fahrenheit, I'll also play it, just to see if I can find out why a friend of mine who recommended it to me, was always saying that it is a great game :D

The gameplay to that is 95 percent quick-time events. That's it.

That's the trick to cooking shows. It looks easy because they've done the recipe numerous times, until they know it like the back of their hand.
Tends to not work quite so well when it's a normal person doing it.

Additional - To anyone interested in a better type of shooter that doesn't mind the rare rented game from the competition, Humble has Spec Ops The Line for free if you rent a 2K item.
Suggestion - Rent Civ 3 for less than 2 dollars, then get Spec Ops along with.

Or they cheat and use TV-magic, having a fully cooked, already prepared finished dish hiding in the stove, and they can completely botch up the order, and pull out the picture perfect one as needed. Cereal won*, only because I am still looking for the prize. It is no fun to just empty the box out and grab it.

Okay. Then wait for them to show up here....hopefully.

I'm off for moment now. See you all later!
