LaPtiteBete: I hear that there is an eclipse right now... but even if I had the needed "special" glasses, I couldn't see anything, because of these random big clouds :-(
avatar
FearfulSymmetry: Same thing here! Sure, it's a bit darker than usual, but that's all the difference I can see thanks to the clouds. :P

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! Good to see you, and I hope you're doing all right.
Good morning. =)

Happy to hear you're feeling better after getting some rest.
avatar
adaliabooks: Just been watching the eclipse. Bit cloudy, but still managed to see quite a bit (hopefully haven't damaged my eyes.... :/ ) too cloudy for the pinhole projector to work unfortunately but there were times when it did..

Pretty amazing anyway :D
You mean you did watch it without any protection ? ):-| you fool !!
Otherwise, hello Adalia :-D hehe... hope you're doing fine ?

innocuous77: Shhh....

I've spent my entire Spring Break... with broken ankles... both of them. In a 4 story house,,,
Misery...the Movie:-)

CarrionCrow: It's not too bad here. Caught up on Archer, have been playing some Beatbuddy, hoping to get that game done today.

Quiet? That's not good. Can't concentrate with all that silence around. Have any loud music? -laughs-

I'm not surprised that the limit didn't stop her. Just annoying that GOG put one in at all. Makes me wonder if they've been having to deal with problems and needed to do something to shut those problems down.
avatar
LaPtiteBete: Nope, unfortunately if I listened to any loud music I wouldn't hear my colleagues complaining or my telephone ringing, which would be... hey. Not that bad ^^
I play music (really loud) during my car drives...
Yep, I also wonder : why the limit... ? ...:-\
-laughs- That works until coworkers get annoyed with you. Used to do that quite a bit, helped speed typing along quite a bit.

Not sure on that one, it's a new policy GOG instituted. Moonshine just got me with a ninja gift, she said that GOG was still blocking her from buying Loom for some frigging reason.

FearfulSymmetry: Yep, I'm doing fine too, my muscle pain is a lot better than it was yesterday. :)

*hugs to everyone*

LaPtiteBete: Awesome \o/
I always thought that sport wasn't -that- good for health... ;-p
Hahaha. :P I'm actually doing the yoga thing under orders from my physical therapist, because it's supposed to be good for me. :P The main problem is that because of an accident I had a few months back, I injured my neck, and one of the consequences of that injury was a loss of muscle ability. So, in order to decrease my ever-present neck pain, I have to strenghten the muscles in my neck and shoulders again, which means doing loads of muscle-pain inducing exercises. Still, I'm already seeing some results, although it's clear this will be a long road. :P

(I secretly think you're right about sports not always being healthy ...)

Haaa, I see... These are really needed exercises then... (sorry to hear about your accident :-\ ...). I have a friend who had an car accident a few months ago too, and still dealing with back problems too... as you say : it's a long road !! Good luck with your re-education ! :)

Nah, just glanced occasionally at it... it did get to the point where you could pretty much look at it (we got about 95% eclipse or something here) but you still have to be careful in case it moves and blinds you..

I'm fine thank you. Scived off making dough yesterday so I have to do it today along with the other prep I need to do for tomorrow so should be busy, but not started yet, got distracted by the eclipse :)

About my accident? Mostly it was just stupid, bad luck. I fainted with my head against a wall and in doing so I moved my neck in a way necks are not meant to be moved. ;) That happened in October. I received treatment before, but as it turns out, that was the wrong kind of treatment. I'm confident I'm doing the right things now to aid my recovery, though. And at least I still have my teeth! (Although one is not as straight anymore as it used to be. :P) And I didn't break my nose, so that's a good thing as well. :P
