ddickinson: Goooood evening, everyone!

How are you all doing this fine evening?

My partner is doing very well and feeling a lot better, thank you. Of course I don't tell her about the people on here. She would ban me from using the internet if she knew all the strange people I chat to online. :-)

(She knows I chat on the site, but there are only a few people I mention to her, mainly those I am close to).
Good evening. =)

Glad to hear that your partner's health is improving. How are you feeling tonight?

Compared to earlier today, I am feeling great. A pleasant evening with my partner always cheers me up.

How are you today? I hope you are having a nice day so far?

How are you liking AvP? Is it a fun FPS?

The donkeys just brayed for the first time. Scared the SHIT out of me. XD

What was really weird is that I was playing KOTOR at that instant, and as I'm sure you know, that is the sound Lucas used for the Sand People. It seriously took me a second to figure out where the noise was coming from. :P

Thankful that she's there for you. Not a big fan of seeing good people feeling like crap.

It's a quiet day here. Most exciting occurrence was a clogged vacuum cleaner, so it could be a lot worse. -laughs-

It's either the donkeys, or Sand People are invading the inn. Whichever one sounds better to you. ;)

Luckily on only have bad days now and then. Usually no matter what I can keep a smile on my face. I think it's just the lack of sleep.

A clogged vacuum cleaner sounds so exciting. You be careful not to over do it, your heart won't be able to cope with all that fun. :-)

I would think the sand people. If you give them good service then they will be back, and in greater numbers (I know, a lame Star Wars joke). :-)

With all the people you're there for, the smiling part doesn't surprise me at all.

I know, thrilling stuff. I don't mind, though. Have had more than enough "excitement" for a lifetime already.
I'll take the stupid vacuum having a puzzle piece lodged in it.

Hmmm....Sith Lord TinyE and a horde of mind-controlled Sand People to ravage the countryside?
I actually like the sound of that.

It actually bothers a few people that I am generally quite smiley all the time. They seem to think that I am hiding something behind the smile, which I guess could be true, but I don't think it's the main reason. I am just a smiley person and try to look on the bright side of life.

Don't forget the Storm Troopers, and of course, they will need transportation. :-)

General announcement:

MarkoH01 has noticed that the previously pulled soundtrack from Dracula 4 is now on the shelf as a "product_bonus." If it was removed before you bought the game, grab it pronto!

I'd say some people think that because they themselves have to plaster on a fake smile at times when all they want to do is be honest about how they feel.

Might be more inclined to lean towards the false mask idea if I got the feeling that you did such things regularly, but you don't strike me as a particularly phony person.
Would be far more willing to call it an outward manifestation of strength on your part.
You could give in to it, you could use completely valid reasoning to reach that point of "Screw it, I'm going to be frigging miserable". But you don't.

Good evening. =)

Thank you for the info, pulling the extras for that game in their entirety since nothing's really labeled.

How's your fight with the returns been going?

Good evening to you too! A bit of general housekeeping today after deadline day. Stacks in front of me, but they're minor stacks. So... pretty well! :)
Replaying Wiz6. Forgot how hard the game is.

A bit of a lull before more monstrous piles of work end up in your lap? (Assuming the temp doesn't "accidentally" burn the place to the ground, of course.)

It's been relatively busy, but will only build from here. Give it about a week and I'm going to start surreptitiously leaving lighters around just in hopes. :)

Well, at least you've got a backup plan. Just make sure you don't have any personal items of value in the office when they get all firebuggy with those lighters.
