ddickinson: I have the Witcher 1 and 2 in my library, but I have not played them yet. One day I will get around to trying them, I do intend to play all the games on my shelf eventually. :-)
I really recommend reading the books first, beginning with "The Last Wish". The second book "The Sword of Destiny" is still not officially available in English, although it contains a few stories that are of relevance for the following novels and possibly the events in TW3. But there is a fan translations available from archive.org.

The books are very, very good of you like fantasy literature.

moonshineshadow: I have played the first one. Was a nice game. And when the second game come out I realized you could load saves from the first one. But I did not have mine anymore because the computer had broken down in between. So I started to play the first one again and almost finished it. And then I had to move and stuff and somehow I never finished the replay of the first and never even started the second one :D
It's not normally a type of game I would play, but with it being very well priced during a previous sale, I figured I would pick it up to give it a try some day.

I like the idea of keeping your save from the previous game. It makes it more rewarding for the player and gives them a nice link to the second game.

I will have to have a look one day and see if I can find the first book and give it a read. If I enjoy it I will try to get hold of the other English translated ones.

I have not yet, sadly. It is on my book shelf now ready to read, but what with all that has gone on lately I am a bit behind with my reading. I will read it soon though and let you know what I think.

*big comforting hug* I almost suspected that but since I just remembered it I thought I'd ask :-)

No worries, thank you for reminding me. I will put the book somewhere prevalent so I remember to read it when I am in the right frame of mind and things are less hectic.

*thank you hug*
We have another ninja gifter in our midst!
Our lovely little Owl has just given me Grim Fandango Remastered, a VERY generous gift.
If it's possible even more little green buttons are in order. :-)
Thank you very much Little One! ;)

Done and done. She really is a very generous little Owl. I knew that gifting addiction would spread to people here, and to think people used to tease me for that because of my gifting addiction. :-)

Hello, Endre!

My might wishlist now stands at 30 (ish) games. Down from over 50 that I started with last night.

I think she is on a gifting spree. Or even out of control. I also got ninjad. More +1s for her :-)

I think it's a trick. She wants more stars. The gifts are just there to take your attention away, then when you least expect it, she will swoop in and take your stars for herself. She will be the first 10 start user on the forum. :-)

EndreWhiteMane: Sadly most employers want all of the praise for themselves. Regardless who does the good work. :(

EndreWhiteMane: Many would prefer their customers think staff can't do more meaningful work than empty trash bins without their direct supervision and guidance.
Yes, it's stupid, no I was not that way, but many are.
Are we sure you have never met my former employer?

Good day everyone, hope you all are having a good Friday and are looking forward to the weekend.

If anyone's not doing ok today, here's to things improving before the day is out.

So you are fine with her taking all your stars, clothes, GOG games, and all your coffee? She is becoming a little Owl Napoleon, once she gets started there will be no stopping her. :-)
