Thank you. I will be okay, I'm used to life throwing tragedies at me. I still have lots of depressing stories I have not told, but of course I would not tell them. So we are free to carry on our silliness.

I'm sure the mitts will turn out perfect, and the old friend will just love them.

trentonlf: There are all kinds of low lifes out there roaming the net and looking to pounce on whoever they can find sadly. I'm glad GOG seems to be free of that the majority of the time, and when someone tries to be a low life they do not last long here ;)

ddickinson: They don't really bother me, it's just that I get tired of dealing with them. I have had enough abuse form idiots in the real world, mainly about what I am, and I just find it easier to keep quiet about some things. It's only recently that I started being more open here, mainly due to me not caring what people think, and from some wonderful support I have gotten from a certain person on the forum.
I would guess that support comes from our local kitten tamer ;-)
She is my best friend in these forums, has a heart of gold :-)

I know, and I have shared some more serious things. But generally it is not in my nature to share too much, except for those I am really close to. No offence to the lovely people here, it's just how I am. There is only one person I share everything with, and that's my partner.

Correct on both counts. You could take away all of the games and everything else from here and I wouldn't care, as long as I had my lovely friend to talk to. She has been the best thing for me on GOG.

I kinda understood that last tiime... about life throwing tragedies at you. I'm just sorry to know you have so many of them... Hopefully you have enough helpful and loving ears and arms around you to carry on... I wish you have !

It's not all bad, life has given me some wonderful things as well, which is what I concentrate on when things are not going too well. As for having some loving ears and arms around me, well I certainly do. My partner is my guardian angel, and gives me all the support and help I could ever need.

As for the silliness, well I don't like to share to much bad stuff, even with people I talk more closely with I keep things back, as I tend to deal with things myself and not to burden others. Plus I enjoy having some silly fun, it always helps to put a smile on my face.
