No more breaks unfortunately. Looks like she's officially entered the phase of "things getting a lot worse before they start getting better" which may last up to 18 months. But given that the alternative (open brain surgery) would have been a failure, we try to look at the positive side of things. And she's a real trooper!

Her break seems to be over; symptoms are more intense and constant for the past 15 days or so now. Still bearable but noticeably worse than a couple of weeks earlier.

Ixamyakxim: Pirates! was an amazing game. Ton of fun. Not sure how it holds up as I only played it many, many years ago. I know Covert Action is pretty highly regarded (I've never played it; always somewhat wanted to but I'm shallow and not sure I could get by the looks).

Also, if you're into sims, Silent Service is another very well regarded one - but only if that's your thing. I know sims are a genre that it can be hard to get into if it isn't something the person is interested in.

Gather around the fire young ones, and let me tell you the terrible tale of tabloid talk trash TV.

I'm sure you all know about the social-experiment/reality-show/gutter-trash TV show Big Brother. As that has gotten stale, they've come up with Big Brother VIP which is basically Big Brother z-list celebrity edition.

Today I found out that half the occupants of the house, come from the local version of Jersey Shore.

Worst of both worlds.

Uh ok. So I'll change my wishes to "Hopefully the phase of things getting a lot worse will be as short as possible".

And yeah yesterday I got hit with a cold, quite annoying, but meds are duing their job and I feel a lot better already. A weekend with doing nothing besides relaxing should hopefully bring me back to normal :-)

[edit] Seems like a lot of people are not feeling that well and have the signs of getting a cold, perhaps we should rename this to the "Conversational Free-For-All-Sick-People Thread" ;-)

Yes, I woke up with a sore throat, but I get them like that sometimes. No other cold feelings. Give it a day or so and I should be able to roar again ;-)

Hope the owlet's cold isn't bothering him/her (you've got more than one, right?) too much...

It's... her (the tiniest and most angry-viking one). Yes, I also have a bigger male owlet, but without any running nose at the moment ! (didn't I show a pic a fews weeks ago... you should still have been (is it grammatically correct ? >__<) in your moving process...

Amazing how such young boys can grow moustaches in France! For a moment I thought he was Hercule Poirot (he's Belgian, I know, but the moustache is similar)

That is the most dangerous-looking pirate I have ever seen - terrifying!!!! ;-)

And is that Strawberry refreshing herself before she starts singing again??? I bet she has a beautiful voice ;-)
