CarrionCrow: Hey. If I start acknowledging that maybe there's a point where a person should stop, I might have to acknowledge that myself, and given the size of my list, I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN! ;) -laughs-
avatar
GhostwriterDoF: Stop? What ever do you mean..? ;)
When the list is clear. Then I stop. But not before then. I'm not falling into the trap of wanting everything put out, ever, since I NEED the compulsion to end somewhere. I don't have that much damn money and I've been building up my GOG stockpile for over a year now.
avatar
CarrionCrow: I would definitely say so. If you'd like to see a JRPG, Pier Solar is one, and a high quality one by the looks of it.

I grabbed a copy of it during round one.
avatar
j0ekerr: The funny thing about that game, it was made by Iowans.
No wonder the quality is so high! :-)
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: I have a bit of a grudge against games that come with zero documentation but, that said, I am enjoying it now that I have the basics figured out.
Not being experienced in these things makes it tough, your mileage may vary, It IS well made and a good price.
avatar
Stilton: Its that Manga look/cute character thing that's putting me off. If the story compensates maybe its okay, but I've always found those kinds of visuals unattractive.
The visual style is a pretty standard JRPG trope, all characters having that Japanese art look to them.

Additional - just got reminded by Tekkaman-James' 6 hours old post on the other thread that Wasteland 2 comes with a Wasteland 1 code.

Wasteland 1 is essentially Fallout before Fallout was Fallout, made by the same guy who did the original Fallout.

Anyone here interested?

Thanks for the input, people, but I think Pier Solar can wait for another day.

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. I get the feeling that it might not be quite to the level of, say, Wizardry 6-8 levels of gleeful player murder, but it's up there.

Holy fucking shit. That is incredible.

Even if that is total bullshit and a cosmic-scale goof, it's still incredible.
There are so going to be so many freaked-out people over that...-laughing really hard-

I wasn't expecting an answer to that question... heh!

I can relate to not having much money, though my wallet may be empty, my heart is full.

And I have a serious commitment to making sure I keep a little on the side for an instabuy,
when and if they pop up during the new releases. And as long as those new releases coming,
all of our compulsions, a game of getting games, can continue. :D

Yes, an incredible joke by Tallima; wasn't he great? :-)

I already know what I'd do - clear the catalog, then take the remaining items and use them to help clear other thread people's lists.
