Stilton: I'm not sure if there's a quicker way, but I do the old cut and past - select the text you want to quote from each post panel that opens, paste it into Notepad and edit, and then paste the result into your new post.

Like I said, my pc skills are roughly stoneage, so there's probably a better way of doing it...

Click reply button to first person, copy stuff. Close reply window and click reply to the second person and insert the copied stuff from before ;-) I do not think there is any easy way of doing multi-replies :D

I suppose it was inevitable, but things on the front page appear to be getting a bit Keaney from time to time.

Ah, yes... Sometimes I forget that my avatar is from MoH. The main reason I chose it is because my grandfather was a US Army Ranger, and it seemed like a decent tribute :-)
(He was 6th battalion though... The MoH:AA cover depicts 2nd battalion.)

Bumberluppins left about a month ago. He was really horny. You can't get a lot of bird-on-bird action on Omaha Beach...

Stilton: Does he/did he tell you any stories of what it was like? War stories from people who were there are amazing. My grandmother used to tell me about the Luftwaffe's night time bombing raids, which I found fascinating.
Not to me... He died in 1967, over 20 years before I was born. He told his kids a few things, but from what I understand, he didn't like to talk about it much.
The only story I know is about him training Rangers in Hawaii. Part of the training was jumping off of cliffs into water wearing full gear. They were taught to undo the chinstrap on their helmet as they were falling, so that it wouldn't break their neck when they hit the water.
Not sure if it is true, but that is the only story I know :-P

Same here but I like my eggs 'over' until the yolks are dark yellow but NOT runny.

Yep. I think without the Keaning some people would have broken down in front of their computer :D And it lead to such great things. I still have a link to the Keaning poem saved.
