The Urban Dictionary defines "twit" as someone who "makes a retarded chimp look smart."

I'll let you figure out the rest. :P

Starmaker: Because that's the requirement for the Hard West Life contest. It's not about "baawww social networks are evil", the point is that GOG contests shouldn't require entering into relationships with third parties otherwise unrelated to the contest. Twitter didn't make the game or sponsor the contest. Want twitter publicity? Fine, accept twitter entries on twitter and forum post entries on the forum.
Thanks. I totally missed that contest thread. Yes, does sound strange to make a Twitter specific contest.
I don't blame GOG for making a twitter-only contest. The 'social media' platforms owns social interaction on the web, and GOG, like everyone else, has to adapt to this, or be left out.

But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be debated.

I think someone said something like 'Facebook is DRM for social interaction'. At a live event in Copenhagen, I heard Art Spiegelman say that if he could do one thing, he would un-invent Twitter.

Also, this: The Web We Have to Save.

I'm rather surprised by how relatively unsuccessful that giveaway seems to be. After forty-eight hours, there are less than 120 entrants, which is rather a small number considering there are 22 generous prizes and an undisclosed number of honourable mentions. Weird.
And...

The giveaway is closed and according to random.org we have a winner: Lexor.

Congratulations, Lexor. Chat is on its way.

And thank you to everybody who participated in the giveaway or simply posted in this thread.

P.S. Honourable mention for original interpretation of the rules goes to KasperHviid (alas, not accompanied by a tangible prize).

I would like to thank you again, mrkgnao, for the contest and RNG machine for selection. :)
congrats!
Sounds like a lot of fun. But I already have the prize in question.

NOT IN.

WHOOPS. Clicked on the first page and didn't read the rest of the post.

Congrats, Lexor.

I think hummer010's entry also deserves honorable mention. :-)
