Timboli: At some point in the near future, perhaps by the time you read this, Time will have turned a corner and be heading back the other way, if in an oblique manner and not directly so. This means instances of Deja Vu will become even more common, and you could even meet your younger self. This is a Universe first, if not a Galactic one.
I Thought time was completely static. Along what dimension is time moving and with what relativity can you say for certain it is headed back the other way and it is not that the back is headed the other way?

that time is static is an idea that came out of special relativity, and it is one of many physics model of time. it is an easier model of time to deal with in physics - if itime is fixed then all the time there is and everything within it simply exisits. the alternative is that time is not fixed, but moving or unfolding, and this adds extra diemsnions of things and time moving in and out of existense and therefore needs something to order it.

the end result of fixed time is fatalistic, in that it means there is no free will, everything you have done, are doing and will be doing are fixed. your consciousness only move through time and experiencing it witout any real agency.

Time is a barely or hardly understood beast that might have kittens at any moment, and might contradict all known knowledge at any point in time. Time could reinvent itself for all we know. Time is certainly not our friend and doesn't give a fig for us or our scientific understanding. The Winds Of Time could blow away any rules us mortals formulate like leaf litter.
