Regarding Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, I have assumed this compilations has arcade ports different than the versions offered here? If they are the same, I can remove this one.

The versions offered here are the DOS versions of Mortal Kombat 1+2+3. The Arcade Kollection contains the arcade (well, duh!) versions of Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Also, as far as I know, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 has only been officially released on the PC via the Arcade Kollection.

Did you consider and decide against 'Injustice'?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/242700/

As Batman is a playable character in this arena fighter
(bit of a 'Super Smash Bros. Syndrome' situation, I know...)

Also here's a remake of the Spectrum, Amstrad and MSX game 'BatMan'
http://retrospec.sgn.net/game/batman

Dunno if that's taking things a bit far though...

they don't really look like Batman games though. First one a DC Universe game and second one... ummm another game :)

the remake looks like a better fit. why to you think that would be taking things too far?

I didn't know if you'd go for freeware, fan remakes of old games that weren't originally on PC
But yeah, go for it if you like!
It actually looks pretty cool - I never played it because there wasn't a C64 version but there was of it's semi-sequel 'Head Over Heels' and that was very good!
