Swedrami: Gameplay Trailer (US) (same as above, but with Swastikas and related symbols on display, I assume? Need to be logged in to watch this one)
They're at a distance so it's hard to be sure, but the flags in the final scene look more like plusses than swastikas.

Basically stand-in Iron Crosses like in the DE version too, thanks for checking.
But why have it restricted then?

Strange.

The "plusses" are Iron Crosses.

I'll never get this obsession with certain flags and symbols.

But I'm pretty sure the decision was made because a German Federal Ministry was involved.

No freakin way...... if names of products, local social customs and who knows what more change because of the acknowledgment of a slaver's past ..... you guys are most certainly gonna stomach a lack of swastika in your life!!!!

Or because some people are still not aware of the Sozialadäquanzklausel.

It's probably just some backwards Youtube regulation you actually don't have to adhere to but Kalypso chose to do anyway.

Pretty sure the Bundestag is very well aware of it.

Edit: I'm not so sure, though, whether it applies here.

I think this was the consensus on Kalypso's DE alterations... path of least resistance.
Considering that the still images on the official site do have swastikas (alongside Balkenkreuze) on display it actually might be some ridiculous regulation that makes the use of swastikas and related symbols in video advertisment of the interactive media containing them verboten.
The trailer restriction shenanigans aside - this looks surprisingly decent.
Thankfully there's also Sumerian Six to look forward to and actually play while we likely are going to have to wait for the GOG release of Origins.
Wouldn't mind a surprise DRM-free launch coinciding with the one on the other platform though.

That's not what it is.

What it actually is, is that most gamers don't like censored crap.
