What we do in the shadows.

Unavowed is coming soon, DRM-free to GOG.COM.
Evil is awake in the city that never sleeps. Enthralled by a demon you did unspeakable things until the Unavowed freed you from its spell. Joining this ancient society that battles the supernatural might be your only chance for some answers and -perhaps- redemption.
Prepare for a branching narrative full of fateful choices and RPG elements in Wadjet Eye's most ambitious adventure to date.
Looks great....I should REALLY start playing all those WE games on my shelf
Wishlisted.
(Btw: Is it only me, or look all the legs slightly too long in comparison to the rest of the bodies?)

Laberbacke: Unpopular opinion maybe, but I liked the games WEG only published/produced better than the stuff Mr Gilbert created himself. Particularly Technobabylon and Shardlight.

Ashnak: Interesting. I feel the exact opposite way, particularly about Technobabylon and Shardlight (and don't get me started on A Golden Wake)
Which brings us to Lamplight City. It's the new game by Grundislav Games (Francisco Gonzalez, creator of Ben Jordan, A Golden Wake and Shardlight), but it won't be published by Wadjet Eye. So I dunno if it will end up on GOG. I hope so.
It been a while since i've seen some great gaming news; having enjoyed immensely every single Wadjet Eye game i've played, i'm looking forward to it.

I feel the same, the Blackwell series was ok, but its puzzles and story didn't really captivate me. I liked some of the other games like Primordia, Resonance and Shardlight much better.

A Golden wake is pretty deficient in the quality of its puzzles, but I found its story interesting, I can't think of many games which are

Games are escapism. I don't need a game to experience failure.

maladr0Id: Gameplay-wise it's pretty much a pureblooded point & click, but there are elements of Dragon Age's storytelling in there: you pick a gender, the origin story of your character, and the teammates you prefer.

So, no stats or progression? I thought this game will be like Quest for Glory.

Looks like it will. :)

You know, I've never really taken much interest in Wadjet Eye's stuff (I'm not a massive adventure-game-head in general) but I like urban fantasy settings and this looks and sounds like it might be pretty cool. I'll keep an *eye* out for it.

Great to know!
Thanks for the intel.
"Three playable origin stories". Did Lord British write them?

blotunga: RPG or point & click?
Hybrid. In an interview a while back - I think with Rock, Paper, Shotgun - Wadjet Eye has stated their goal was to have the branching narrative of an RPG but without any mechanical crunch.
Very nice, looking forward to it.
