It’s time to finish the hunt in the epic finale to the Turok Trilogy – Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is coming soon to GOG straight from the hands of Nightdive Studios!

The title picks up immediately after the events of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, with dual protagonists Joseph and Danielle Fireseed, of the Turok family tree, as they battle the titular antagonist Oblivion and its followers, the Flesh Eaters.

This remastered version is a faithful restoration of the classic first-person shooter originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64, upgraded through Nightdive Studios’ proprietary KEX Engine for play on modern gaming devices with up to a 4K resolution at 120FPS. You can expect upgraded gameplay, high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, as well as support for gamepads, and more!

With Nightdive Studios behind the wheel, we cannot wait to get our hands on that beauty. Wishlist Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered now so you won’t miss its release or any special offer!
looking forward to this.
Nice to see confirmation of this on GOG.

Now let's hope for the Dark Forces remaster coming here too!

Make it happen GOG!
Instabuy once it´s released.

I am sure Dark Forces Remastered will come here too ;)
Guess i was wrong about Nightdive Studios, and they really do care about gog releases. Seeing this coming here.

So Turok: Evolution next?
Wow, didn't know, that there was a Turok 3! (●'◡'●)

I thought that the third Turok was Turok: Evolution, that was also available for PC (Windows).
Great to see it confirmed.

Also hoping for the Dark Forces remaster.

There is "Turok - Rage Wars" for both N64 and GameBoy Color both which were actually released before "Shadow of Oblivion".
Though "Turok Evolution" probably is slightly easier / faster to remaster considering it also had a WIndows-PC-release.

No, Turok: Evolution is the ''fourth'' or fifth release in the Turok series (depending on how you look at it) and the PC version, to be honest, gives a lot of food for thought. Even the XBox version is better. And, there's still one more game in the Turok series for Nintendo 64 (which has not been ported to PC yet). Edit.- That was the name of the missing game in the series (''Turok: Rage Wars". As mentioned by the colleague above. We should also mention the 2008 release which despite the harsh criticism is not as bad as the 2003 game. In my humble opinion. =)

I hope this REMASTER doesn't change the level design too much like the previous games (Turok 1), that is, that it keeps everything that makes Turok a must-have game in any collection. Honestly, it must have been a titanic job being a game that had to be ported directly from console to PC. Great, onto the wishlist and certainly a must buy for any Turok fan. One of the best (games) that Iguana and Acclaim produced and developed at the time.

Rage Wars should be easier since it shares assets with Seeds and Oblivion. It's pretty much just a handful of maps, some new, some old, with the character models of existing enemies. There's a few new characters and weapons, but beyond that there isn't much. Just have to plug in the multiplayer from 2 and a bunch of work should already be done.
Sounds awesome
This looks like jolly good fun!! Maybe time now to get the Triology.
Glad to see all the Turok love on this site.
