Godlike freedom.

The Universim, an In-Development God-game where the success of your civilization depends on your planet management and anger management skills, is coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com!

Your people have fire! Soon, they'll start building settlements, cities, impressive machines that drain natural resources, and eventually perhaps space-faring vehicles that will enable them to leave their mess behind. Want to encourage or punish their behavior? Use your godly Power or Wrath to shift the weather in their favor, help cure diseases, and bring meteors down on their ignorant heads. Give them the tools to reach greatness or watch idly as they blow things up - that's the godly way.
Each planet provides a unique ecosystem, wildlife, and dangers. Each civilization is bursting with limitless potential and constant temptations of self-destruction. What path will your guys walk? And what will happen when they encounter the mysterious aliens flying overhead?

Wishlist The Universim and rule planets full of unruly people, coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com.

You want me to have a heart attack right now, don't you GOG?

You're unbelievable.
As of yet, no release date exists for The Universim.
this looks goddamn awesome, total and complete instabuy!
Are there any system requirements for this game?
It works on Win XP, so the sys reqs should be rather low, right?
How long has this been in development now, three years?
I do not know how good this game may be when released, but the trailer made me feel like yawning.

Yup, about 3 years - Kickstarter campaign was in April 2014. But the development it's pretty intensive, Crytivo provides full schedule of development and informs every few days about the progress, what they did, what they're working on now and what's in plans.
beautiful trailer, love the art concept for this game, will keep an eye on it for the future
That looks very interesting. Any infos on the price and system requirements?
Oh, yeah. Waiting for this for a longtime now. Bring it on gog!

Hm, where is the price?

*Please be good, please be good, please be good*

This looks pretty cool and I like the premise of being able to guide them to other planets.

I hope the core gameplay brings back the magic of Populous but with a bit more *fun* added in for good measure.

And one game convention I LOVE - God games displaying the curvature of the Earth. I don't know why or what it is about it, but it gets me going every time.
Oh, I was hoping for something more along the lines of a spiritual successor to SimEarth. (Mostly the very colorful SNES version.)

But this appears to be purely mammal based at the start of the Civilization period.

Also, could do without the SUDDENLY ALIENS or the DRAMATIC FOGHORN.

This trailer was also pure cinematic, not giving the viewer any inkling as to how to interact with the game.
Not really into god games or strategy games, so I’m not interested. It looks good, though.

But I hated that trailer voice so much that it made me close it and look for a gameplay video, instead. Seriously, please use your own damn voice instead of using an unnatural, deeper, slower—and not cooler—version of it.

You can check the gameplay on youtube. They gave out a lot of pre-early access key to youtubers.
