The 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle platformer from Skookum Arts is said to take puzzle platforming quite literally. That sounds fun and... well, puzzling.

The Pedestrian is coming soon DRM-free on GOG.COM. Game's official release date is 29th January 2020.

GOG.com: "I can see the signs in my sleep now, always guiding me closer. Will this really work? Have we almost achieved the impossible?”
The game may be fun and all, but this really doesn't tell me anything at all. The news text isn't exactly illuminating and the game page somehow manages to tell you even less.

A little bit more effort would be much appreciated! You can't really get people hyped with one-liners.

I don't know. Gifs on game's page look pretty self-explainatory.
Looks like fun. Only understood the idea after I saw the Trailer.
Very creative.
Seems quite original, count me interested. :)

If only the news announcement or game page came with a gameplay video...
Getting some game and watch feel there! :)
Hello!

Yes, indeed. This game's presentation of its platforming challenges reminds me of the old game&watch style, as well.
And the moving of parts of the levels is vaguely similar to Gorogoa.

I really like the concept and gameplay ideas in this one. But I do fear, that hardware-wise it will be to tackling for my laptop, because of the detailed 3D backdrop scenes/enironments.

Will see how it turns out.

Looks pretty interesting and semi unique. Wishlisted
Well, it even feels a bit like Portal

Which ones? I can never see things on GOG anymore. Not that I'm complaining because loading animated gifs and videos are just a waste of space but game pages would be more informative if they were designed without the in page screenshots.

Well there's nothing below and since a few months ago GOG pages have been filled with these big holes showing how little real info they've come to contain.
I am very intrigued! The 2D gameplay aspect gives me Portal vibes and the 3D background world gives me Stanley Parable vibes. Wishlisted!

They're not gifs though. They're videos, but with no controls visible by default, so I didn't realize they were videos since I have autoplay videos turned off (and others are apparently not seeing anything at all). Not really the best choice for presentation; actual gifs would make more sense considering they're just brief clips anyway.
