language slip?
4 characters, such a shame, gimme at least 10 and i'm game
Gonna get this, although I'm not looking forward to no Japanese voice-overs, but it's not really an issue as number one, it's being published by owlcat, and they rock as far as acquiring exemplary voice talent and number two, it's from non-eastern developers so that's expected…

But yeah, I'm a sucker for JRPGs/CRPGs, so I'm in, thanks GoG for the acquisition!
Good Ole Turned-Based Games... If I was ever into that genre of games I'd be set for years to come. Since as I'm NOT into this incipid genre of gaming, I'm pissed. It's as if they've never heard of Real-time anything, anymore.

There's always Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - Aiko's Choice to scratch that real-time (stealth) tactics, set in pre-Meiji period Japan itch.

"Throughout their arduous journey, new heroes will join their cause, each with their own past and motivations."

You might be lucky here :)

Lovely saga. True heirs of Commandos, but in feudal Japan. Also, these games made very good use of three dimensions.

Same here. This one shows a lot of promise. I liked everything I saw in the trailer.

More in the line of a game such as Lost Eidolons. Or maybe even something like Fantasy General 2. Where leading characters have more rpg features than your regular grunt. Of course i enjoy the either specialized or hero party as anyone, and of course there are more options for control for a developer with smaller groups but...

It would be nice to have a fleshed out story and a company of characters that tries to make sense for once without leaning heavily on certified genre.. tropes
