I think they should have put their money in the Japanese voice over if they could only afford one. After all the game will interest people who are to a centain degree into Japanese culture

RedRagan: "Go to a peasant kingdom"

But... all kingdoms are peasant kingdom. Also even during the Sengoku Jidai people still producing rice because every fief using amount of rice produced to measure of wealth. Do they even understand ancient Japan?
"The Kaga ikki, also known as The Peasants' Kingdom, was a theocratic feudal confederacy that emerged in Kaga Province (present-day southern Ishikawa Prefecture), Japan, during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The Kaga ikki was a faction of the Ikkō-ikki, mobs of peasant farmers, monks, priests, and jizamurai (lesser nobility) that espoused belief in Jōdo Shinshū Buddhism. Though nominally under the authority of the head abbot of the Hongan-ji, the Monshu, the ikkō-ikki proved difficult to control."

Besides, your quote is fake.
It's "the legendary Peasant Kingdom", with capital letters and definite article. One might say that the adjective legendary is not used in an appropriate way, as it not a legend but a hystorically existed faction.

"DEVELOPED IN COOPERATION WITH JAPAN HISTORY EXPERTS
We put a lot of efforts into the research for the game. Every part, , from the tiniest stones to culture and politics should be historically correct. Only some lacks of information in Tokyo's university libraries push us to historical limits and challenge our creativity."
Yes, it looks they understand something about early modern Japanese hystory - I wouldn't call the Sengoku ancient. It's contemporary to the Renaissence.

So it's Ikko Ikki?
You know they failed hard right?
Oda burned down the temples and spent money to pull merchant to his side
Also Oda opened trade with foreigners, and it was profitable for them

What's the problem? Swedrami posted new, relevant information in the appropriate thread. This is better than making a new one. The way you used "necro" purely pejoratively is bad.
Beautiful trailer, looks an adventure game more than a RPG. ^_^

Because i respond to something else in the thread initially, hit post, THEN realised it was a fugging necro.
Whats your problem?

I disagree. Making a new thread, or alternatively, making no thread nor post about these matters at all, would be much better, especially since he necros a great multitude of old threads in the exact same manner as this thread was necroed, every time a dev for any game that is supposedly coming to GOG at some indeterminate point in the future releases any new PR hype for a game.

The result of all these massive amounts of Necro threads, is that it gives forum readers the false impression that they are clicking on new Announcements of soon-coming games, even though they aren't actually doing either of those things.

And that's a very bad thing. So having none of these Necroes would be much better.

Almost three years of "coming soon".
Patience, patience, little dear - everything has to be in order.
