Old World - Behind the Throne introduces the machinations of the royal court with new mechanics, rivalries, and the ability to leverage your power with opulence projects that bring you closer to victory.

New historical characters take center stage in the role of advisors, viziers, aristocrats, and courtiers. These rising stars bring their own ambitions, desires, and drives with them. Will Alcibiades change his allegiances multiple times throughout his life or will you be able to put an end to his double-dealing antics? Will you let Enlil-nadin-shumi successfully usurp the throne of Babylon? Or will Harpagus betray your ruler after a long life of service? Let others manage your cities and befriend them, or watch as they turn into dangerous rivals fueled by a thirst for power.

Wishlist it now!
Old World continues to be a great game, and the updates are making it better.
Such a good game, is good to see it receive more content!
Seems it's getting closer to CK/EU.
This DLC has a Linux version, but not the original game. Is it a mistakes or does it mean the base game will have a Linux version?

It does have a Linux version, just not on GOG.
No Linux version on GOG equals no buy of this DLC for me.
So we had

Railway Empire Complete Collection before the release of the Japan DLC

and

Old World: Complete before the release of the Behind the Throne DLC

There is a Linux icon on this DLC on GOG. But only on this DLC (not on other DLC, not on base game).

Yes, I'm aware. That doesn't change anything; it's clearly a mistake to have the Linux icon on this DLC as there are no Linux builds or downloads for anything related to Old World on GOG, as you can see on gogdb.com.

They've been updating the "Complete" bundle with the new DLCs as they come out (higher price each time).
Where's the Gog release ?

Posted by dev "Solver" on Discord:
They're generally a bit slower because a release is manually triggered by GOG staff, not automatic, but in this case I'll take the blame, looks like I messed up the project file so they can't release it yet - sorry for that
Yes, it's now past office hours for GOG so they're unable to release but will probably do so as soon as possible tomorrow - apologies for causing that delay on our side
It should be available today.
New update on Discord:
Apologies again. GoG are currently running their QA processes on the latest build and the release will happen when they are satisfied.
Why does GOG not have the Linux version? The native port is said to be good.
