Lose yourself in the dystopian world of New York, 2329, with Nobody Wants to Die – coming soon on GOG!

Experience a noir adventure in an alternate future of New York City in 2329; technology has advanced to offer humans eternal life, allowing consciousness to be stored in memory banks or transferred from one body to another. Following a near-death experience, Detective James Karra takes an off-the-books case from his chief with only the help of a young police liaison, Sara Kai, to assist him. Time reveals all as they risk everything in pursuit of a killer, uncovering the dark secrets of the city's elite.

Now, we know that many of you might be interested in Nobody Wants to Die – but while we won't give an exact date now, we just wanted to let you know that it's coming REALLY soon!

Wishlist it now, and stay tuned!
Looks interesting.

@Swedrami
Thanks for the gameplay video.
The player character model looks kind of too young for the voice.
To wish list.

From the gameplay of the demo shared by user @Swedrami. Thanks, by the way. The protagonist or the game employs the same mechanic of medicine or tonic for a condition or disease from FarCry 2 (or an effect caused by the consciousness and/or body swap mechanic). Just to clarify, this is my speculation. We'll have to see and play the title to see what the mechanics and gameplay are all about. But at first glance, I loved it. I hope the puzzles are complex and involve a good investigation to be solved within the world and narrative of the title.

Glad to be of assistance, cheers.

Looks like Singularity and the Braindance sections in Cyberpunk 2077 may have been sources for inspiration in regards to the investigation mechanics too.

As far as the retro-neo(n) noir futuristic art nouveau aesthetic is concerned it's also reminiscent of REPO MAN (Wishlist entry).

Thanks fro the link!
As if 'interactive narrative adventure' wasn't already a big enough warning sign -
and the camera bobbing...

Easy skip.
Happy to see Nobody Wants To Die coming here to GOG! :) Bioshock immediately came to mind when I saw the art deco style. Definitely looks like a game I would enjoy!

I hope to upgrade my potato PC to a yam PC by the time this game releases! :P
Untrue ironic naming is ironic.

On a side note my mental health is fine. I just think the name is humorous, as so many sad souls do not agree with the title.

I see humor in odd places. Whoopsee doo! >_>
So euthanasia is not a thing, then?

Well, thanks, but I'd rather not know beforehand when I am going to die, even if it was REALLY soon. It would just depress me.

Well, do I have any other choices than "staying tuned", waiting for the inevitable? And no, I don't have a deathwish.

Be a man: Live. Die. Repeat.

Edit: P.S. And as usual, Nobody is pain-in-the-back.

Unfortunately still coming soon, while already available on Steam…
There are reports of non-rebindable keys.

Makes one wonder if the reason for this are the devs, publishers or GOG.
Looks amazing. Can't wait to play it. :)
Looks great, but I've read you can't save during a mission, and each mission takes quite a long time to complete. That puts me off.
