Nightdive Studios and Ziggurat Interactive have teamed up to bring back this sophisticated shooter laced with gallows humor and visual violence to bestow mayhem to all – Killing Time: Ressurrected is coming soon on GOG!

Set in the early 1930s, Killing Time: Ressurrected casts you as a student, studying the cryptic world of Egyptology, who finds themselves trapped in the estate of wealthy heiress Tess Conway. A ritual to bestow eternal life conducted by Ms. Conway backfires and her high-society friends vanish without a trace. It’s up to you to find and destroy the mystical Egyptian Water-Clock to undo its curse and face a legion of super(natural) horrors.

I wonder how a certain store feels about GOG receiving the remaster first. That's if they will even get the remaster at all.

They posted "Time is a flat circle" with a screenshot of a Google search result "Exclusive Release" on X. They are fuming. Ziggurat Interactive. :D :D :D

Devyatovskiy: Based on what I remember from Ross's playthrough, the story and narrative are complete random jumble. Themes and cohesion is barely there as well. It was a jumbled mess of randomness converted into an FPS.

idbeholdME: It's not that bad to be honest. The gimmick with the ingrained FMVs was pretty cool, the story was not that hard to follow, the shooting is passable and I enjoyed hunting down the gems. The weirdest thing is probably the enemies and some of the music choices, but it gives the game that "weird" feel that made it enjoyable to me. The game even makes the effort to explain why there are random weapons strewn about or why some enemies look the way they do.
Yeah, I had a ton of fun with the game back in the day. The locations felt real compared to other FPS games of the day. And IIRC, Ross Scott loved it as well.

The remaster honors the original through the inclusion of toggleable high-resolution character artwork/sprites from the original 3DO and PC versions of the game, upscaled environmental texturing, smoother gameplay, more responsive controls, expanded control and key-bind settings, and more."

That said, I wonder what (if anything) they removed or altered. Hopefully nothing was changed and it's a good redo.

I also welcome the challenge of running 64 bit Windows 10 on 512MB of RAM.

GoG has fumbled again in the copy and paste factor .. but amusing in this case

Edit also its nice there is apparently a loyalty of bonus of a extra 10 percent off on the game given when I added it to my cart it went from 20 percent to 30 percent off
