Go Go Gadget!

Inspector Gadget - MAD Time Party is coming soon to GOG!

Metro City has fallen into the hands of the evil Dr. Claw and his M.A.D. agents. To save the city, Inspector Gadget must travel into the past using a time machine. Unfortunately, it breaks down and his ancestors find themselves teleported to the present.

Your mission: Explore Metro City and compete with your ancestors to collect the time machine's missing parts. You will need to complete mini-games to unlock the bolts needed to repair the machine. Play against three Gadget's ancestors to earn the bolts.

ReynardFox: Art direction looks a bit rough, that half-assed 'black lines around the characters' effect is annoying and doesn't work. Commit to ink lines all around or don't bother.

There is a dark pencil outline kind of effect. It's clear to me in the first screenshot.

And that is not how you do a 'cartoon' effect.

Everything inside that black outline is regular texture/shading, with no additional ink lines to define the different elements and keep the aesthetic consistent. Look at the image linked above, why don't any of those black lines run continuously across the actual body? Like the outlines of the chief's arms and hands when they're across his chest? It just looks like someone traced around the outside of the characters and called it a day. Sloppy.

Yeah, it does seem pretty average on the graphics side. I'd bet the game is more for children... I wonder what will be its price.
