I thoroughly loved the first one! I played it more than typical games of its genre, multiple plays even. It had some of the best UI polish I've seen around. Was it perfect? No. But was it good enough for me to get the sequel early? Absolutely.

The tldr on Endzone 1: "Banished, but post-apocalyptic. And with an end-game state. And the slightest element of tower defense."

Damn, I was hoping that this was a silly Gridiron Handegg game.

This is the nicest looking post-apocalypse I've ever seen. Kinda looks like the end times were a big improvement.

I do like the idea of a good Post-Bounce game; where instead of wallowing in filth, squalor, and getting into petty squabbles over tinned beans, people band together to rebuild and make better. It can have interesting conflicts too, such as "how to" and "what is better?"
