GOG.com: Coming soon: #DRIVE Rally
Usually, I prefer more realistic graphics in my racing games.
And the save at (0:12) in the trailer isn't really encouraging in regard to the driving physics...
But the Arnie impersonator as co-driver - that has something. XD

You know what would make me relive the 90s in the most exciting era in motorsport history? Rally games that came out in the 90s (and 2000s) - they were quite the fad at the time. Would be nice to have some of those here as well.
That looks fantastic, plus native linux, hell yeah. I love the graphics.

It's great to see Rally titles on GOG as there are very few here. Which is a great pity. But I'd like to see more Colin McRae-style or classic games (or Richard Burns Rally, WRC: FIA World Rally Championship, Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo, etc). They're missed, really.

This is just an animation not the final gameplay physics, so no worries :)
"Jump behind the wheel of legendary rally cars, including Das Holzwagen, The Doggo, The Bobond, and many more."

But do we actually get to sit behind the wheel or is this yet another racing game with only third person viewpoints?

Thank you for your insight. Good to know.
I take it, you're one of the developers?

If so - you can ask GOG for developer status.
That way, everything you post, will be orange, which makes them stand out more in the forums.
There is a rear view, amazing ;)

I have to admit, I am not crazy about the Arnold voice. I would understand it if it was Arnold himself doing it, but as I doubt it's him, or the rest of them, I feel like this is just wrong.

Again, as an idea great, not sure how ethical it is.

As for the rest of the game, time will tell. I hope it's a good one.

Also I would like to win the national lottery.
I think I have better chance of winning it than 90s racing games coming here, unless of course they first remove all actual brand names.
It's a shame really as there were several great fun racing games in the 90s (and 80s) which I highly doubt we will ever see on sale here or anywhere else.

Ethically wrong?

Dude. It's a simple joke.
The game is "set" in the (fictional) region "Regierungsbezirk Holzberg/Fichtenheim" in the (real) Steiermark/Austria.
Arnie was born in the Steiermark.

But hey, why stop there?
Why not also blame the devs for cultural appropriation?
You know - because the devs are Poles and not Austrians?
Really happy to see a new car game. We're so short of them on GOG
OMG, no, what you are doing?! Get to da choppa!

Yes your reply is very sane.
