Absolutely not my kind of game - but given the German name of the game I was wondering if somebody knows if the devs are German too or if they just chose the title because it sounds so nice.

From the game page:
Dorfromantik was developed by four game design students from Berlin.

IronArcturus: Does anyone know which game engine is used for Dorfromantik?
It's Unity

amok: If I would compare a game to Dorfromantik (as seen from the demo) it would probably be ISLANDERS
(https://store.steampowered.com/app/1046030/ISLANDERS/)

Zoidberg: Yes! That's the one! Thanks.
I remembered. The game I thought you were thinking about was Zen World

That does look nearly identical :/. The visual style of Islanders looks very similar as well if not the gameplay. I'm not really fond of this mobile game visual style and I already got refunds for a couple of simple builder games so without a demo I'm going to avoid it for a while. Of course this one isn't really a builder in the usual sense and I do like simple puzzle games that can be played fairly quickly so hopefully they will provide a demo.
