Similar to what Mortal Shell does then, but in this case the switching between the different archetypes can be done on-the-fly, it sounds like.

Probably just decorative as it would clash with the overall tone too much, but I'd be down for a secret unlockable mode or something where you'd have nothing but that metal ball at your disposal and would have to "fight" by repeatedly kick-shooting it at opponents until they perish.
