A fine selection of Daedalic newborns!

Several intriguing new games from the beloved publisher/developer are coming soon, DRM-free on GOG.com, and we're here to give them an early welcome!

Come meet these promising titles who will soon be the talk of the town:

Silence returns us to the beautifully melancholic Whispered World. While seeking shelter from the horrors of war, Noah and his little sister get magically transported to a fantasy realm that's also being ravaged by conflict. With the shape-shifting caterpillar Spot by their side, they will join the rebel forces and strive to save a world full of strange inhabitants, overwhelming beauty, and permeating darkness. And perhaps meet some familiar faces in the process...

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is an isometric, squad-based tactical strategy game where you navigate 1600s Japan, looking for cunning ways with which to assassinate your high-profile targets. Each of your five operatives excels at a different area and you must utilize their diverse skillset in creative ways in order to strike swiftly and unseen.

Candle tells the hand-painted, puzzle-driven story of Teku, a tribesman who must save a shaman and fulfil his destiny. In this treacherous, mystical land that is getting consumed by darkness, having a left hand shaped like a candle is all Teku needs to light his path and illuminate the dangers of his environment.

Caravan tells an Oriental tale through its methodical strategy/RPG mechanics and its striking storybook aesthetic. As you make your way from town to town, trading and interacting with the locals, your caravan will encounter exotic creatures, ruthless bandits, and the numerous perils of the mesmerizing but dangerous Arabian nights.

Wishlist Daedalic's upcoming offerings and prepare for a barrage of emotional and addictive experiences -- DRM-free on GOG.com.

A caravan management game! It's my secret dream game! SOOOOLD!
Caravan looks pretty cool. Same with Shadow Tactics, assuming it's the Commandos clone that the screenshots suggest.

Good job, Daedalic.

Shadow Tactics looks a lot like Commandos or Desperados, but in a different setting, which is a very good thing.

The art style in Candle is amazing and the gameplay sort of reminds me of Oddworld. I'm definitely interested.
Commandos in ancient Japan? YES!!!

Mmm, Silence looks tasty good!
Wow! Chinese audio in Silence!!
I think it's gonna be the first point-and-click adventure game with Chinese audio+text on GOG!
Super cool! I will be able to improve my mandarin! :)
Thank you, GOG!

Great right? I plan to play in in Japanese. Let's hope we have more choice for Asian languages with time.
Caravan looks like Oregon Trail... but in the orient.... ....... ... and different...
Feels like i've been waiting forever for Silence: The Whispered World II :)

Thanks Daedalic & GOG , Love You :)
Is Silence point and click? The tags don't seem to indicate that
I hated Whispered World because of the protagonist (the only Daedalic game I didn't like), but since I'm not seeing him in SIlence I might give it a try. Although I'd much rather it be Daedalics usual 2D animated style thing.

Maybe I should give A Whispered World another shot. With speech audio off, so I don't have to listen to that guy.

I recommend you buy Fire at Humble instead of BigFish. Not only do you get a DRM-free version there, but the game is cheaper (plus, for the next week or so, it's on sale at less than a quarter of the BigFish price).

I don't know why GOG have never added Fire to their catalogue. Maybe they felt the cartoony art style and picture dialogue made it look too casual. They've never stocked the puzzle games for The Inner World or Deponia either (although I think those *are* too casual for GOG).

I'm wondering the same thing. It's listed as "adventure-ACTION-mystery" (my caps), while Whispered World was "adventure-POINT-AND-CLICK-fantasy" (also my caps). That suggests a significant difference in gameplay mechanics...

That's it, I'm buying a new PC. Shadow Tactics puts me over the acceptable limit of games with fluffy flowers that I have but don't get to play at home.
