It looks amazing! I love the mix of pixel art and platform games. Wishlisted!
Looks exactly as punishing as Sunblazers was... I'll just wait for a deep sale on this.
I really like the colorful level design and the slightly goofy animations.
Reminds me of old Apogee titles. <3
The demo's fun. I would never play using the permadeath mode, but normal mode is fine.

Oh, you mean the demo that's on Steam (of course!) and not on GOG?
:-|

edit:
GOG needs to step up their game and automate more stuff.
I understand that adding a demo is like adding another game, i.e. it needs a web page, screenshots, installer packages, Galaxy build, support entries etc. But there has to be a better solution than just giving up.

You can actually get the demo on the game's itch page, I believe.
(update: check post 2 in this thread for the link)

No, I mean the one that's on Itch.io. Also I don't even want demos on GOG unless they add the ability to remove them from your library.

Create an alt-account and collect the available demos and free games. To save yourself the trouble of logging in and out whenever you wish to add or download, use a private browsing window. Also, ask GOG support to remove any demos you currently own on your main account, because it's the only way to get rid of them.

I know that's not what you want, but that's the best option available, as they likely can't restrict a deletion method to just demos. [i]It isn't entirely clear what they can and can't do without affecting other vital aspects of the website, account, or forum.

Maybe CDPR/GOG will surprise us with a new website, shop, and forum software this coming Christmas, along with a bunch of AAA title releases, because they've finally realized that this is a worthwhile investment that will both save them money while also increasing their revenue and bottom line.

Nah, the best option is just to download demos from Itch.io, or Steam if not available on Itch.

They can, but they'd prefer not to.

The Hide function is partly for that, it's for when you want to get things out of the way, like a sort of recycle bin that can't be emptied. But yes, I agree that demos should be handled differently, it's not really convenient to have demos and games mixed together on the same level in your library.

I wouldn't mind demos having their own library separate from the games themselves, but I also like the idea of them being integrated into the game sections as extras. I mean, in each section you have access to the game itself, its DLC and its extras, so why not include the demo in those extras?

I think it's interesting to have access to the demos of the games you own, and it's not always superfluous, sometimes they have content that's not in the main game. What bothers me is not that you keep the demos in your library, but that they're treated as separate items, cluttering up your library and equating games and demos as if they were the same.
It would help if library filtering by tag let you filter out as well as in. I manually tag all demos in my library but I don't think there's a way to exclude items with that tag from displaying, and I don't fancy manually tagging all non-demos as 'full game'.

Now there's an idea. That would be harder for GOG though, since they'd still need demos to be available independently, since mainly the idea is to sell someone on the idea of buying the game. Also there's the unfortunate and increasing usage of time-limited demos, where the devs deliberately eradicate the demos from existence after a little while.
